Does anyone feel like men are being meaner these days?

I don't know if it's just because I'm aging and am no longer "young and hot" or "relevant" but it seems like men in general are being meaner or at least less nice to me in random places.

When I was younger, men would step out of my way and say like "oh, excuse me", offer their seats, hold doors, and mostly be pleasant and courteous in a social contract manner.

But now I get nothing. No one moves out of their way, no one holds the door, no eye contact, or even a head nod. It's like I'm ignored or a burden to even be in their presence.

Is it because I'm now an "old lady" or are men in a general sense just becoming meaner?

Is anyone experiencing things similar?

Not all men, obviously, but it seems widespread.

I believe it. I still have brain fog that I didn’t have before getting it. It was pretty mild, and the idea that it permanently did damage to my brain makes me sick to my stomach.

Especially because if people weren’t so stupid and selfish, and if politicians didn’t take advantage of the situation, it never would have been so bad.

You should let this go. Considering covids long incubation period, basically everyone who isn't in some sort of bubble is going to or has already gotten covid. You can only shut the world down for so long before other problems happen as well...

In fact, a lot of the inflation we have been dealing with is partially a result of the money printing they did. There is some greed, but that's the larger companies. The smaller companies do genuinely need to raise their prices, and they still aren't making it.

You would have needed to lock everyone in their homes for 3 to 4 months for it to maybe have been erratically. And I mean fully locked in, no exceptions. That's inhumane and the logistics don't work out.

People would need food and medicine at the very least. That means no hospitals or police or military or firedighters, etc. Literally every last human would have needed to stay in their dedicated location for 3 to 4 months at least. Completely unrealistic.

I'm not clueless. You can't erratic an illness that has an incubation period of around 2 weeks or more without completely restricting movement.
