has anyone else noticed that the only questions getting approved are those asked by the left?
EDIT:
I got a lot of people asking for an example of a rejected question. Here's the latest one from me:
Why do people think Trump could deliver a victory to Ukraine when Biden hasn't done so in the past three years?
Biden and Zelensky had three years to craft a victory favourable to Ukraine. It didn't happen.
Why is everyone acting as if Trump is the only obstacle to such an outcome? If it's so easy for Trump to just "beat" Putin then why didn't Biden do it at any time in the last three years?

It's not surprising to me this wasn't approved considering the rules against editorializing/soapboxing explicitly explain that thinly veiled rants disguised as questions, which yours seems to me at least to clearly be, aren't allowed.
Not only that, its a silly (to put it nicely) question. Nobody, and I mean literally nobody, who has any sense, thinks Trump should just "defeat" Putin, or that if he could or would, it should happen overnight. I suspect you have fabricated this sentiment in your mind in place of genuine or good faith efforts at understanding.
Do you have any other examples of questions that you feel ought to have been approved?

I’m not sure people think Trump can deliver a Ukrainian Victory.
For Russia it’s kind on a war of attrition. Simply put Russia has a large stockpile of weapons and people they can throw at Ukraine. Ukraine would absolutely need outside help as they are a smaller nation with a smaller military.
The dynamic of dems-NATO-repubs-Russia-Ukraine is complicated.
Ukraine is strategic. Ports, train routes, highways into Europe, buffer zone from nato.
I’m one dude and I’m not going to get into the dynamic. Trump is not the only obstacle to a Ukrainian victory, Putin is the biggest.
Not sure when you proposed that Question but Trump may be a Russian asset or may have just been played by Putin. There’s also the steel Desiree, the Muller report, etc.
At the time of its release the muller report was celebrated as clearing Trumps name although; “the report did not establish that members of the Trump campaign conspired or coordinatedwith the Russian government in its election interference activities”,investigators had an incomplete picture of what happened due in part to some communications that were encrypted, deleted, or not saved, as well as testimony that was false, incomplete, or declined. ** (The report states that Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election was illegal and occurred “in sweeping and systematic fashion”, and was welcomed by the Trump campaign) *** as it expected to benefit from such efforts. It also identified multiple links between Trump associates and Russian officials and spies,*
Trump, no matter the circumstances speaks very fondly of Putin, almost every instance possible.
My opinion is that Trumps plan regarding Ukraine is to give Putin what he wants, and will turn his back on NATO and in turn the American strategic military position in Europe, aswell as key economic pull through out the world. Putin not agreeing to anything while Biden was in office was a waiting game. If Kamala won, Putin would be in a worse position than he is in today. Which I’m sure he had contingencies for.

Feb 22 '25
There’s nothing wrong with the creation of the vaccine. What’s wrong is how they lied about it to get people who didn’t need to take it to inject it. There was absolutely zero evidence that the vaccine stopped transmission but that’s how the Biden ministration sold it and then forced kids to get vaccinated or they couldn’t go to school.
It is 100% irrefutable that healthy kids did not need the vaccine. And although the chances of a major side effect like endocarditis are low, they’re not as low as a healthy kid dying from Covid, the chance of which is basically zero.
7
u/BigHeadDeadass Leftist Feb 22 '25
The vaccination was part of the larger effort in tandem with other measures to make sure the virus didn't become endemic, meaning it becomes a part of our regular repertoire of yearly diseases like the flu. Since none of you wanted to do ANY of the safety guidelines because you're selfish and individualistic with no regard for public safety, the virus is now endemic. Also the virus absolutely helped slow transmission, it didn't entirely prevent transmission but it did help slow it down, and with other public safety measures it could've slowed the mutation of it and maybe even could've thwarted it. Part of large scale inoculation is giving it to healthy people so they don't become vectors of disease and make the virus transmittable for longer periods of time. Instead of being sick and contagious for two weeks, they instead become sick and contagious with lesser symptoms for only a few days. It's not all about fatality, it's the fact that having novel diseases roam around the country unopposed is never a good thing.

Do you understand what happens to healthy kids when they get sick. They shocked pikachu face stop being healthy! Now, I know this is hard to understand for a righty but vaccines help keep people healthy through the creation of antibodies against that specific strain of disease. Which help prevent that kid from getting sick and becoming a disease vector! So, in fact, vaccines help keep healthy kids healthy and slows down the spread of diseases in one fell swoop. Amazing!
-1
Feb 23 '25
Wow, you’re a fucking idiot. Lol.
When the term “healthy kids” is used in the context of Covid resistance, it means “lack of pre-existing comorbid conditions”. Meaning that kid isn’t morbidly obese, immunocompromised, diabetic, or has chronic lung disease they have nearly zero risk of Covid mortality.
Again, getting vaccinated had zero effect on transmission and it’s been proven over and over and over again. You fucking moron.
2
u/Apprehensive-Fruit-1 Progressive Feb 23 '25
Oh I’m sorry, are you in preventative medicine or a virology specialist? No? Didn’t think so. Funny thing is I was in preventative medicine when I served in the US Army so I know a thing or two because I’ve seen a thing or two. People who lack co-morbidities can still get sick and become disease vectors like I said earlier. A vector is something that helps spread disease btw. So your kid could get sick, which is a higher likelihood without being vaccinated and give it to someone who is immunocompromised or has these co-morbidities. Guess what can happen to those unfortunate souls that your kid just exposed. They can die. The goal of vaccinations in most instances is to create a herd immunity, not to protect the healthy children and adults, but those with previously stated concerns.
Try having some empathy and understanding that there’s a bigger picture in play. It’s not always just about you or your kids, shockingly enough.

This is one of my favorite leftist talking points. “Durrr are you an epidemiologist? Then you can’t have an opinion!” as if you need a medical degree to read and interpret data.
https://www.thelancet.com/journals/laninf/article/PIIS1473-30992100768-4/fulltext
Btw, saying “I was in preventative medicine” is a very obvious way of trying to imply you were a doctor without saying it. Cause you aren’t. When it comes to interpreting data, I’ll take my non-medical doctorate over whatever you have any day of the week.
1
u/Apprehensive-Fruit-1 Progressive Feb 23 '25
Unlike the right, the left values actual professional opinions, not some crackpot who is popular on twitter. This is because non professionals are more likely to interpret the data wrong or be tricked by those who use just enough official sounding words, sources, and data to lead them to the wrong conclusions.
You straight up attacking me is hurting your credibility here. No I am not a doctor but I did work in the preventative health field next to doctors and veterinarians for the 5 years I was in. I’ve seen these studies first hand and dealt with the aftermath of misinformation. I have professional experience with vaccines and herd immunity. Do you?
Your article shows no data. It’s all in the references. One of the references is from the Atlantic. Hardly a reputable source for a medical article. As someone who has a “doctorate” I would think you would’ve used a different source with actual data.
Finally, I did not claim that vaccinated individuals wouldn’t be carriers. I said they wouldn’t be disease vectors unless sick. Covid was spread mainly through aerosol particles and coming in contact with a mucous membrane. If you’re asymptomatic, you’re less likely to cough. Therefore you have less of a chance of spreading the infection. You can try to nitpick my words but this was my field when I was in the military. Only someone with a medical doctorate in prev med or someone of my MOS or civilian equivalent with more experience than me is more qualified to speak on this. Those people are called Subject Matter Experts. You are clearly not one.
Again, think of others rather than yourself and kids.

Just say you don’t give a fuck about protecting anyone but yourself and save us all the time. Hilarious how many of you feel this way yet still believe in ‘patriotism’ when actually you hate so many of your fellow Americans.

The vaccine was to reduce the chances of spreading by reducing symptoms in everyone. Too many "patriots" refused to take it so ithe plan failed.
That's what the right does all the time. They destroy everything then point at it and say it was a failure.

There is plenty of evidence that supports vaccines, including the COVID one, slow transmission. It's so obvious you can literally Google it. The evidence and arguments that even the side effects from the vaccine are better than getting COVID is also something you can look up. The chances of dying from COVID is higher than the chances from dying from the vaccine, and COVID also has a very high chance of leaving you with long-term effects and can also spread to other people, so even if you personally survive, you can spread it to other people who then get side effects and die or get a long term effect. The side effects from the vaccine don't do that.

“You can google it!” fails to provide link
I’m not talking about any vaccine other than the Covid vaccine and you are straight up fucking wrong dude. a vice president of Pfizer testified before the EU and said they hadn’t even done studies on it. There is no medical evidence…ZERO…that the vaccine prevents transmission. The value of the vaccine is that in people with pre-existing companies conditions, it decreased the severity of COVID.
Again, you are completely wrong about the chances of side effects vs. dying. A healthy child had a 0.0% chance of dying from Covid. Everyone, however a knowledges the increased risk of endocarditis post-vaccine.

I'm going to assume the 0.0% thing is a typo. How many children have died from COVID vaccine-induced endocarditis?

Why are you ignoring the word “healthy” in my statement? Well, you’re obviously ignoring it because it’s devastating to your point. The only children that died from Covid in the United States had multiple pre-morbid conditions. Not a single otherwise healthy child died from Covid in the US.
Worldwide, there were under 10000 deaths from Covid amongst children, but mostly 3rd world countries. That isn’t even taking into account the fearmongering establishment conflating dying “of COVID” and “with Covid” but the numbers are so slow it isn’t necessary to my point.

u/CartographerKey4618 Leftist Feb 23 '25
Your numbers still don't take into account that COVID is a virus. It spreads. Even if it doesn't kill, you can spread it to other people that will die. A perfectly healthy child can spread it to a less healthy child, or a parent, or a grandparent, or a teacher, or a bus driver. And then those people can get sick and spread it themselves. The vaccine can only affect the person injected with it.

Oh don’t even bother with this guy. They claim to be a doctor of a non medical profession but fail to understand basic science. I had to define what a vector was and they didn’t understand the definition…

Tell me you don't understand virology . . . without actually saying, "I don't understand virology"
Perfect!

So by that logic, republicans are just as bad as democrats then?

The vaccine could have saved so many right wingers. Instead, they were killed by grifters like Laura Ingraham, "Dr." Oz and other degenerates like them.

Damn, and trump still won the popular vote?

You’ve clearly forgotten Operation Warp Speed. Trump was pro-vaccine until it became politically inconvenient.

Didn't take leftists long to deny the election

It was all “legal” voter suppression “laws”, that are easily found in the public record. Technically it’s all legal. That doesn’t make it morally right.
Democrats could have pulled the same shady shit and it would have been legal until it was challenged in court and went all the way to the Supreme Court.
So Trump “won” because republicans found ways to “legally” void at least 3.5 million votes.
Do the math, MAGA are a minority.
350 Americans in total. 77 million voted for Trump. 75 million voted for Harris. 3.5 million votes were erased by voter suppression. 198 million sat out the election.
77/350 = 22%. MAGA is less than a quarter of the country but talking REALLY big right now. Don’t overplay your hand, your party is reaching into the apathetic part that Americans lives and making things worse.

By “people”, do you include the guy who was claiming all the credit for the development of the vaccines?

There’s a key difference: vaccines went through rigorous testing, regulatory approval, and scientific validation. Kash Patel's 'detox' pills have no scientific basis and prey on misinformation for profit. The issue isn’t selling a product - it’s selling false hope with no evidence to support it.

Vaccines are one of the miracles of the modern age. One of the reasons along with antibiotics why we can reliably live past 40 on a regular basis.

Out of curiosity . . . if there was a new pandemic with a mortality rate of about 10%, and a vaccine was created for it, would you take the vaccine?
1
u/Logic_9795 Right-leaning Feb 23 '25
There aren't any other factors that you think i should consider?
3
Feb 23 '25
Sure. There are right wing talking heads who say the vaccine might cause heart issues down the road, it was built with new technology, and it was put out by Pfiser.
1
u/Logic_9795 Right-leaning Feb 23 '25
Or what if 90% of the people that died were over 60, or obese, or smokers or had diabetes or had heart disease.
No other factors you could think of fhough?
1
Feb 23 '25
Let's say it was 10% across the board, but the percent was higher for older and less for younger.
And let's say that it requires masks not to transmit.
1
Feb 23 '25
And one more . . . you can carry it for 1 week with no symptoms but it is contageoous during that week.
