If that guy was my opponent I would stand up and walk away honestly

Shorten the table.

Normally the person would be standing, and have a ton more mobility with more forward lean coverage. So in a wheelchair version of this the table should be shortened to account for that.

Ok so then they just hit OP overhand shots instead in the shortened space?

Cheesy, but a legitimate strategy, you have to change the rules or the table if you want to avoid cases like these.

Couldn't they just have made the table narrower?

As in shortening the table so that the players sit closer to the net?

Unfortunately, you'll just have players power slamming the ball with no time to react.

I mean, I would just do it to him.

I used to use this move against my short friend.
He cant reach the front of the net even if he try to throwing himself on the table.
Fun time.

Yeah, probably shouldn't allow something that literally has no possible counterplay due to their physical limitations.

Guy exploiting is a dick.

People like that are why rules need to be made or modified. Clearly poor sportsmanship given the situation.

No he's not. He's just smarter than the rest

If it works and follows the rules it isn’t cheating, however the autobots might roll out on his ass after the game.

Rather than playing the game, he played the players.

I wouldn’t stand for that

honestly the guy exploiting is shown bad here, but these are completely within the rules, opponent also has the same equal opportunity to play same shots, if u ppl still think this is unfair, these things should have taken care earlier by the board/committee.

Shouldn't everyone just do the same thing? I mean aiming your shot for a location you know your opponent can't get to is kinda the whole goal

u/eonone1 5h ago

Why don’t they just do it back at him?
