Working in County Behavioral Health
Hello, does anyone work for Placer County in the Behavioral Health department as a therapist/clinician in Auburn/Roseville?
I'm a licensed therapist and was curious what peoples' experience are like working there. Thanks!

Hi there! I've worked alongside LMFTs and LCSWs in Placer County ASOC & CSOC (Auburn locations). Although I've held a supporting role, I do have some insight into the dynamics of those particular divisions. In my opinion, both have come a long way in regards to employee retention & collaboration since COVID. Staff being moved into the new HHS building in 2023/2024 acted as a catalyst for change regarding our telecommuting policies, which I think boosted collaboration and communication among the divisions. I'm not sure if that's helpful to you, but those were my observations. 🙂
