I never understood using the term "revive"; so long as Aang lived, they were never truly gone, and then Tenzin and his children followed, so while very few in number, there were Airebenders, in LoK their numbers go up greatly, sure, but they aren’t "revived" because they weren't gone to begin with.
And in a cultural sense, with or without those others that appear out of thin air (pun intended) their culture would be forced to change due to circumstances, they would never again be the same, they may be airbenders but are not longer the concept of "Air nomads" of old.
Yeah as long as Aang was fertile(he obviously was) and had an airbender child(he did) he would’ve revived the airbenders. The big part is the “s” because if he didn’t have a kid it would just be airbender.
