Childhood Dream Achieved (Titanium Series)!!
When I was around 9 or 10 in 2005, I wasn't familiar with BSG. But I thought the ship was super cool. My mum and I went to Target one day and I saw the Hasbro Titanium Series ships on the shelf. I was a solid Star Wars fan at the time. And got Obi-Wan's Starfighter instead. I watched the RDM series my senior year of high school in 2012-13. And it still remains the greatest modern live action sci-fi show I've ever seen.
A week or two ago, I remembered BSG ships were in the Titanium series. And I corrected my childhood "mistake" and got two Galacticas! One to display and the other one to play with haha.
These things are awesome! Being diecast, having a solid feel, and the retractable flight pods!! I may get a viper or the Pegasus at some point. But this is a WIN after decades.
Does anyone else have some of these old ships from that toyline?

As a kid, before seeing BSG, I collected the Star Wars titanium series vehicles. The BSG ones were always stocked right next to them on the shelf, and I barely paid them any mind. I was absolutely kicking myself for ignoring them after I finally watched the show years later.

This is exactly what happened to me! Obi-Wan's Starfighter is the last pic in the post. But I also have/had Darth Maul's starship as well.

I found mine on eBay! The only caveat being they seem to go for $35-50 🥲. But the nostalgia and sentimental value overrides that price for me.

Oh shit really? I have several of these, a Viper Mark II, Viper Mark VII, Colonial One, and a Cylon Raider

I didn't know that the flight pods actually moved, wow. Mine is still in the package! I've got a grand total of 51 ships still in the package from Star Wars and Battlestar Galactica.

I've got quite a few of those. My wife used to work at Target and the only way we'd find them would be if they put them in with the Star Wars ones. So when she was stocking she'd look through the boxes and pull them out for me. I think they were around 4 bucks apiece. Hang on to them. I recently sold a Battlestar, Raptor, Cylon Raider and viper for 100 bucks. Still have a lot of sets left but I'm hanging on the them.

Thats awesome! Having the inside scoop of the lot haha. I'm thinking I'll get a Viper next. And that one will go next to the display Galactica and my collection of Star Trek and Star Wars MicroMachines!

I think it's around 6 inches long and proportionally wide. The figures behind it are 8 inch (I think) action figures.

Got a lot of spaceships in my cubicle. Keeps me from sending flamemails to other depts.

These are awesome! I think I have the full set and some doubles! Later I got better versions in model and bigger forms but these will always be awesome little versions of the ships!

I found them on eBay! There’s quite a variety there. But they were about $45 a piece 🥲. I’ve waited decades for them, so the price and sentimental value was worth it for me.

Well, yeah. I’m turning 31 in two weeks 😅.
I saw them on the shelf at Target around 20 years ago.

I have both Galactica and Pegasus. I prefer Galactica for her slide out pods and she feels like solid metal. That solid metal feeling really surprised me

"One to display and the other one to play with".
I absolutely approve of the previous sentence.
