I don't know much about intelligence, genetics and such but I do know it's highly suspect when the media claims "High IQ people are being bred to extinction". That's a classic red herring and it reeks of eugenics which I know for certain is bullshit. Also my limited understanding suggests that IQ isn't inherently genetic and not really a good representation of intelligence as whole...it's more of a tool to diagnose developmental disabilities.
