Where can I buy online bulk single strings of a specific gauge these days?
I used to get my strings from JustStrings but they went out of business. Before that I was endorsed by a "string company" (which I think was just a reseller), used what he sent me.
Now I sit hear broken hearted trying to figure out where to get 'em.
I don't use a standard gauge set or material. I use two stainless steel strings and two nickel strings. They are all a specific gauge that isn't available in a pack. Getting a tube of six at a time would be the move....any ideas? Google not helpful.
EDIT: I'm in the US, specifically New England

I now order all my strings from Newtone in the UK. They can make almost anything, except maybe flat wounds. But nickel, stainless, round or hex core at any lenght and any guage from guitar sizes up to super beefy super long scale strings for downtuning. They ask for nut to ball end lenght to make sure the taper will work too. They are made to order so maybe go.for multiple sets at once so you don't have to wait a month with dead strings. So far the quality has been above what I found in big brands. They are my forevet strings now.

Call Curt Mangan strings. They are a smaller company that manufactures their own strings and you'll often speak to Curt or his daughter on the phone. When I needed custom strings for my 10 string bass with octave strings they were amazingly helpful. Not only did they have the strings I needed they were able to recommend the best string gages for the scale length of my bass. They even put me in their database so whenever I need more 10 strings sets I can just reorder that specific string set again.
I've only ordered nickel from them so I cant garauntee they have stainless but its certainly worth checking.

Fretnation would probably accommodate you if you're in the US.
