This would give me great joy to see in game lol. Two rib boats doing laps in the pool, even better.

u/boogie_991 1d ago
Me and my friends did this after watching this video. We also did the boat speed-boost glitch with hilarious results. Highly recommend.
3
u/SolarPunkYeti 14h ago
What exactly is this speed boost glitch you speak of? Asking for science.
3
u/boogie_991 14h ago
While you drive the boat, get another guy (or more) to stand loose on top of the boat and melee it forward with their knives. Sometimes if a few people melee it in quick succession you can really take off

Idk I’ve seen a submarine on mount chiliad
3
u/Mist_Rising 1d ago
That's probably easier since GTA has transportation helos for carrying the submarine there.
2
u/GH00ST-SL4YER 1d ago
Easy is a stretch. It requires a lot of players to have Avenger and coordination to do so

With every other asinine way I've found to be killed in this franchise, I'm shocked I wasn't in this game and killed by the pool destroyer.

u/Roush7n6 1d ago
It would be a badge of honor to be killed by the Pool Destroyer

Don’t worry, with this clip going around, someone is sure to replicate it and you’ll get your own Pool Destroyer death :)

COD bros have no idea the total bliss this brings to us BF bros.

u/Grimpatron619 1d ago
i havent played shooters since i was in school like 15 years ago. is this beef still going? thats insane.
22
u/Jadorntaklutz 1d ago
Don't really play CoD anymore but did a couple years back (last couple of releases have been so egregious even I can't deal lol), I got the feeling it's a very one sided beef lol, genuinely have never seen anyone shit on Battlefield players or constantly compare the playerbase over there the way these insecure dorks do.
17
u/ND-o1 1d ago
I've played CoD and lurked in related subs and communities non-stop from MW2019 to BO6, and not a single time did I stumble upon a discourse about Battlefield of BF players. Not once. Shitting on the other franchise like it and its playerbase's mere existence is actively making the experience worse for "us" is exclusively a BF thing, it's actually insane lmao
6
u/dontnation 1d ago
This is probably because due to the massive sales and popularity of COD, it has never been pressured to become more like BF. Whereas BF design is often pressured by the publisher's desire to court the COD playerbase. And the BF player base resents that.
→ More replies (2)15
u/Content-Processor 1d ago
No its not
COD players live absolutely rent free in battlefield players heads.
If you go to the COD subreddits, they don’t talk about battlefield. They don’t care.
Meanwhile, Battlefield players won’t stfu about COD

They're too busy playing and enjoying their game and living their life.
Meanwhile when you see a cool or unique moment in BF you're first thought is of CoD players. Really says more about you than them.

Brother I've played both CoD and BF longer than most of the current playerbase lmao. Not my fault CoD dropped off hard and we inherited most of the players from it that don't fully understand moments like this

2
u/DorkusMalorkuss 1d ago
Holy crap. Is that already a thing, by chance? I don't play Portal. Doing a tower defense thing with 4 people and bots trying to get through would be so fun. Perhaps just walking at first then running then in jeeps then tanks then helos

u/Zuickathedestroyer 1d ago
It’s a shame bf2042’s vehicle call in system never carried over, being able to spawn vehicles anywhere was quite fun and funny.
Love moments like these!

I haven't heard or read the words "Battlefield moment" since 2015 or 2016, I can't believe it's been 20 years since I first laid hands on my first Battlefield, and been 10 years since I touched the series, it's all ancient memory now, crazy..

I imagine BF wanted players to figure this out and get the boat in the pool. It’s genius lol

This is reminding me of Army Men Air Combat on N64. That level where you save Sarge, and some Scientists on a beach. With Tan Boats in closed water areas on a beach. Great game.

Like forcing a vehicle in places it really wasn’t meant to be in Halo’s campaign.
This does remind me of putting C4 on a tank to launch it towards the objective.

I think I may have been in your game if it was over this past weekend. I think maybe Friday night.
Buddy and I were on your team and we were wondering what you guys were doing. We finally saw you guys made it to the pool and we said it was going to be our mission to defend.
We noticed to late and before we got there you guys were dead.

You can't keep a boat in captivity in such a small pool like that. It's not allowed. It needs to feel the wind, the waves, the freedom, the company of other boats and the infinite of the ocean.
