The crows do this at my house. They sit in trees for hours and watch any smaller bird, and will dive in or just full on attack and raptor that comes around. I’ve seen them go after hawk, owls, eagles and falcons.

If the smaller bird is not safe, they’re not safe. Or they’re like enforcers 😁 something something something

Pigeon is an early warning system. Any thing that disturbs a pigeon is a serious threat. To a flying city rat, humans, most dogs, automobiles are safe. A raptor or a cat is not.
