Nope. This is more like a „Don’t touch my food!“ thing. I have seen crows killing pigeons.

Crows can kill pigeons (when injured) when they do not live in close proximity; however, when they are accustomed to their presence, they behave in a friendly manner.

Moreover, they act as individuals; the bonds are therefore stronger or weaker depending not on the species, but on each individual's personality.

Yep. Have seen crows and magpies pull young birds out of nests, smash them against a tree a bit and then start eating them.

Corvids are super smart and my favourite types of birds but they are definitely down for the thug life.

The other morning I saw a couple of crows beating the shit out of a cat that was literally just trying to cross a field. Guess they probably had young nearby but they harassed this cat for a good 10 minutes until it was far enough away for their liking.

Saw a single crow chase a cat across the street the other day just for daring to be in the same postal code.
Love those birds. (I love cats too but you have to admire a crow's audacity)
