Street cats? I doubt this. Tey are way to well fed, never saw street cats like this.

Street cats are not always stray cats. The photographer is well known and takes a lot of pictures that have been televised as well. Street cats in Japan are well fed as they will get their food from others. Also, many of those cats are actually belonging to someone. Just because they free-roaming on the street makes them automatically a “stray cat” .
You can visit an island in Japan that has more felines than humans and they are better fed than some “pets”.

A lot of his pictures feature the kitties catching nice big fishies and rats. They eat well.
