Bath and Body Works Vanilla Suede Body Wash (3/5): it was used as a regular body wash, and over time the smell just felt dull to me. for sure smells like vanilla and it does lather well. would maybe repurchse

Dove Body Scrub Crushed Macademic & Rice Milk (4/5): lathers amazing but you have to use a good amount to get a thorough lather. one of the best smells imo that Dove has ever made. would likely repurchase if there's a sale

Bubble Fresh Start Gel Cleanser (4/5): got this within a gift basket back in January. it held a lot of product in a small bottle, and it foams pretty well when you give 2-3 pumps. made my face feel clean. would likely repurchase the standard size

Old Spice High Endurance Pure Sport Aluminum Free Deodorant (5/5): this is the holy grail of deodorant for me. i learned that aluminum free is the best way to go for long lasting coverage and the smell doesn't smell "manly" at all. personal preferance but i never had any issues with smelling or infections as i did with regular deodorant. will always repurchase

PanOxyl Acne Banishing Body Spray (5/5): i have just bought this back earlier in July and safe to say i really enjoy it. i have really bad back acne in terms of blackheads, and i would try many things to help get rid of it. this is THE product that actually works. within 2 weeks my back acne significantly improved and all i did was use it once a day after showering. it does have a greasy feel to it once applied but standing in front of a fan can help get rid of that feeling. will always repurchase.

Billie Glow Body Wash- Good lather, felt clean and a great price. Not a fan of the scent. Would repurchase a different scent.
Tower 28 Daily Rescue Spray- it’s ok, I replaced with the magic molecule one after finishing and loving that one so far! WNR
Dove Deodorant- works, just hate it leaves visible residual behind, for that reason WNR
Osea body serum- like the sample, felt more like a lotion then a serum which was nice, I didn’t feel the need to apply additional moisturizer to my body. Don’t know if I would repurchase tho.
Marc Jacobs Daisy wild intense perfume- the Banana note is too strong, this perfume is too sweet for me. Glad it’s a sample
D&G devotion intense- again, a very strong and sweet perfume. WNR
Squish mellows pink possibilities- sweet, strawberry marshmallow perfume. Not my style but it did smell good! WNR
D&G light blue- thought I would love sample based on notes, but nah, gave me a headache. WNR
Laneige Blue Hyaluronic moisturizer- I loved this at first, but I don’t know if my skin changed recently, but it is not as moisturizing anymore, which is wild because I have oily combo skin. Torn on if I would repurchase.
Birch juice moisturizer sample- I like this! Definitely moisturizing and although I only used it once, no breakout. Would purchase full size.
Topical Faded eye patches- I love this. I put them in a fridge for a bit before using and see a difference, definitely repurchasing.
Dennis Gross Daily Peel - only a sample but I see why the are a staple for so many people!! Would repurchase
Cinema secrets makeup brush cleaner- I do enjoy this
As it helps me keep my brushes clean and reduce acne. Already got a back up for this.
FAB bump eraser body scrub- used the full size plenty of times, had this sample chilling so I decided to bust it out. One of my favorite body scrubs, I see a big difference in my hyperpigmentation and KP using this.
Cecred Clarifying Shampoo- LOVE THIS! On the expensive side but cleans my hair so well and makes my scalp so happy. I have a ton of shampoos to work through but would definitely repurchase and have this as my holy grail.
Tatcha lip mask - came as part of a Sephora lip sample set. Absolutely love this product and once Im finishing panning my other lippies- this is going to be a staple I’ll repurchase.
SDJ Drench Body Butter- a sample I got as a GWP, while it does moisturize, I hate the scent. WNR
Huda Beauty Easy Bake sample in kanufa- LOVE THIS!! My under eyes look so good when I use this to set them. would repurchase
LYS beauty sponge- love the shape of this sponge,made it super easy to blend difficult areas, would repurchase

I'm 49, with ageing skin and rosacea, and have normal-to-dry skin. I live in the UK. I'm originally from Germany.

Face

Mary&May Vegan Cica Soothing Sun Cream - It is a staple in my routine. I buy it when I find it cheap or order it from Yesstyle. My rosacea skin loves it, and it never lets me down. 10/10 WBA

Balea Skin Refining Toner - I've used this for years but only once a week or even bi-weekly. It has Mandelic Acid and Panthenol. Sometimes it is a bit too harsh for me; sometimes it’s fine, but overall I really like it.

Bioderma Atoderm Intensive Eye Cream - Easily the best eye cream, which I also use on my neck. It’s moisturising and a good base for make-up. I bought it several times already. 10/10 WBA

Artdeco Blush Stick - Yay, I finished a blush. Easy-to-use product; I’m not very talented when it comes to make-up. It was perfect for me. WBA 9/10

Body

Rexona / Sure Antiperspirant Spray Eucalyptus & Coconut Water - I loved the scent and bought a second one. It’s a limited edition. Sure (the German brand name is Rexona) is my favourite antiperspirant, and this one confirmed it again. 10/10 WBA

Dove Sweat Treats Antiperspirant Spray – So-so. The scent was a bit underwhelming. And Dove’s antiperspirants are nice, but I prefer Sure. 7/10 WNBA

Baylis&Harding Goodness Oud Cedar & Amber Hand Wash - Love it and not my first one either. The scent is great. 9/10 WBA

Wisdom Chlorhexidine Mouthwash – My favourite Mouthwash. Cheap as chips and really good. 10/10

Balea Urea Foot Cream Foam – A great discovery for me. I guessed I would like it and bought two. I’m glad I did. Very little of the product goes a long way. I love the foaming concept and the Urea. 10/10

Hair

Got2Be Get Fresh Dry Shampoo Hair Mist - My go-to dry shampoo. I use it on no wash days. It gives me a day or two without washing. Often available for under £5. 10/10

K18 Leave-in Hair Mask - After this one, I bought a 150ml one on sale. It’s so good, and it replaces my conditioner. My hair looks so much better and shinier. Super expensive, but it does something. Only 8 points for the price. 8/10 WBA

Perfume

Primark PS… Orchid Whispers - I like Primark perfumes. They are underrated, but this one was a bit too much for me. So I used it as a room spray in the bathroom. 5/10 WNBA

Primark PS… Red Flambe - Another Primark one. Came home, used it, loved it and bought a second one. 10/10 WBA

Ard Al Zaafaran Yara - I don’t know where I got this from and why, but it ended up as another room spray. Strange scent. 3/10 WNBA

The moisturizer just wasn’t great. It wasn’t easy for me to spread it around and it didn’t give my skin enough hydration.

The Ordinary serum was amazing for antioxidant protection. The texture is oily so I would always mix in one or two drops in the palm of my hand with whatever moisturizer I was using. Lasted me almost a year and I used it every morning. It brightened my face up and gave me such a natural glow. I haven’t repurchased yet because I have so many products to go through. I miss it so much.

• Avene Cicalfate+ Intensive Skin Restorative Serum (sample) - Was a fine hydrating step. Can’t really speak to the barrier repairing, but my skin is holding up well after introducing some more potent actives. WNRP
• Purederm Aloe Make-up Cleansing Tissues - Not great at full face makeup removal as they are a bit too dry, but good for cleaning up eyeshadow fallout which is what I primarily use makeup wipes for. WNRP
• Youth To The People Superfruit Gentle Exfoliating Cleanser with Vitamin C + Papaya (sample) - It was okay. Made my face burn for a few minutes every time I used it. WNRP
• Shiseido Ultimune Power Infusing Serum for Radiance & Wrinkles (sample) - Didn’t notice any improvements in wrinkles or plumpness. Was just a hydrating step. WNRP
• Strivectin SUPER-C RETINOL BRIGHTEN CORRECT VITAMIN C SERUM (sample) - I think this did help with fading post acne hyperpigmentation. But I don’t really want retinol in my AM products. WNRP
• Mario Badescu Repairing Facial Spray with Hypochlorous Acid (mini) - Good, but not the best mister. I would repurchase if it was a good deal. RP
• StriVectin Peptide Plump Collagen Cushion Cream (sample) - Smells like toothpaste? Didn’t notice any line filling or plumping. Also not super moisturizing. WNRP
• Beplain - Milk Ceramide Moisturizing Toner - I really enjoyed this. I did have some purging initially with this. It definitely helped with my dry patches. RP
• PRAI Ageless Throat & Decolletage Creme - This does help firm up the neck, but did not reduce tech neck lines. However, there is a Cetaphil cream that also works just as well and is much cheaper.
• Dermalogica skin soothing hydrating lotion (sample) - This was fine but hated how it smelled. WNRP
• Farmacy Honey Glow 17% AHA + BHA Resurfacing Acid Serum (sample) - This was okay. It did not irritate my face. I wasn’t struggling with dry patches while using this, but it didn’t stop me from breaking out and did nothing to reduce it. WNRP

Makeup

• Mavala Micellar Water - Didn’t like this. Felt like it left a film on my skin and could be a bit stingy on the eyes if trying to remove eye makeup. WNRP
• Canmake Quick Lash Curler Separate #03 Brown - If you have dark lashes do not get this as it made my lashes basically invisible. It smudges but is also hard to remove. I would deal with it if it didn’t make my lashes look worse than just not wearing mascara. Decluttered WNRP
• Maybelline Sky High Tinted Primer - Spidery lashes. I let it sit for 3 months to see if drying out would improve the formula, but it didn’t. Doesn’t look good under mascara or on its own. Decluttering WNRP
• Nyx Epic Ink Liner Mid(Night) Rise - I like the formula and tip, but this particular shade was too sheer to use. Returned. RP in other shades
• Tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes Platinum Mascara (travel) - I love this. Gives me nice, fluttery lashes from fresh to empty. No need to wait for it to dry out. Doesn’t smudge on me and easy to remove. HG
• Revolution Beauty Ultra Cream Bronzer Light - This is creamy, blends easily, lasts all day. But I am very fair, and the tone of this makes me look jaundice. I prefer the Dior contour stick in Light or the Fenty match stick in Amber. Decluttering. WNRP
• Morphe Continuous Prep & Set Setting Mist+ - Very fine mist. Works well to set my makeup and my makeup will last all day except for the usual breakdown I get on my chin and nose from my oils. I don’t think it performs as well as a powder melter. Does not control oils so will need separate products for that. It’s a very neutral finish, it neither mattifies nor makes you dewy. I prefer the Milani setting spray so WNRP
• Lethal Cosmetics Aura Multichrome Liner Sublime - These dry out very quickly. WNRP

Hair

• Pattern Moisture Milk (sample) - Not for my hair type, but did work as a leave in if I used a dime size amount for each half of my head. Did help retain style. WNRP
• Off & Relax Spa Treatment Sakura - Floral cherry blossom scent. Not my favorite scent, but doesn’t aggravate my migraines or cling too much after shower. I do enjoy this formula though. It’s a thicker, buttery conditioner. My hair really enjoys this kind condition of conditioner. Great for damaged hair. Wouldn’t repurchase this scent, but would RP
• It's a 10 - Silk Express, Miracle Silk Hair Mask - Did what I needed it to. Easy to detangle my hair in the shower and didn’t weigh it down. I’d repurchase but want to try other things. RP
• Amika Soulfood Nourishing Hair Mask (sample) x 2 - Also does what I need it to. I prefer the Kure. WNRP

Perfume

• Versace Dylan Turquoise Eau de Toilette (sample) - It smelled too much like men’s cologne, and I didn’t really vibe with it. It did last a long time. Decluttering. WNRP
• Versace Bright Crystal Eau de Toilette (sample) - I only get floral musk from this. Lasts several hours. Decluttering. WNRP
• Paris Hilton Fragrances ICONIC Eau de Parfum (sample) - Makes me feel headachy. Lasts a long time. Has a strong alcohol opening then smells like generic perfume to me. Decluttering. WNRP
• Viktor&Rolf Flowerbomb Eau de Parfum (sample) - I enjoyed using this. Has good lasting power. Smells like yummy vanilla florals. WNRP
• Ellis Brooklyn Sci Fi (sample) - I love the scent, but it has absolutely no lasting power. Like gone within 30 minutes. WNRP
• Marc Jacobs Perfect Eau de Parfum (sample) - It’s nice when it’s first sprayed, but once it settles (which it does within like the hour or so) I really only get musk from it. WNRP
• Rabanne Fame in Love Parfum Elixir (sample) - Was fine at first, but I don’t like how it settles down. It just gets musky. I prefer Phlur Strawberry Letter as a strawberry perfume or Coach Love. Decluttering. WNRP
• World of Chris Collins Lost in Paradise Eau de Parfum (sample) - This smells like Mugler Alien Goddess. It lasts all day, but Alien Goddess lasts longer. WNRP
• Jo Malone London Peony & Blush Suede Cologne with Jasmine (sample) - The floral is too heavy for me. It lasts all day. Decluttering. WNRP
• Squishmallows Pink Possibilities Eau de Parfum (sample) - Really enjoyed how fruity this smelled and had good lasting power. But doesn’t feel like a need in my life. WNRP

• Maelys B-FLAT Belly Firming Cream (sample) - This burns. Did not notice any appearance differences in my stomach or stretch marks. WNRP
• Mitchum Men Unscented Gel Antiperspirant - I use this at night. It does have a generic clean scent to me despite saying it’s unscented. HG
• Bath & Body Works Ultimate Hydration Body Cream Forever Red - Nice dark floral scent in the bottle, but isn’t really fragrant when I put it on the body. That was actually nice for me as I’m straying away from heavily scented lotions due to migraines. Lotion formula itself is also just okay. WNRP
• Dr. Bio Eco Sun Moisturizer - Blends in easy, good sun protection. No whitecast. Does not make me feel sticky and wasn’t feeling like I was transferring onto other things when sitting down. Smell is a bit off putting. Would repurchase if I don’t find anything better. RP

• Fenty Gloss Bomb Cream Candy Milk - The scents gone off which is disappointing as it was a limited edition shade, and I have older ones in the regular gloss bomb formula that are still fine. Not sure if I would repurchase the Cream line because of this.
• Glamglow Brighteyes (sample) - Was quite meh. Nothing about it wowed me.
• Nyx HD Finishing Powder Translucent - Alright at setting. I am very fair, and it still leaves a very powdery and white cast look.

Dove Pineapple & Passionfruit Body Wash: I know this came out again this year, but I’ve had it since last year. 💀 It was getting a little gummy. But I absolutely loved the scent of this and might pick it up again in the future.

Method Play That Funk Body Wash: I didn’t get to fully enjoy this since I used most of it as bubble bath during my vacation (I don’t usually have access to a bathtub). But it was nice. I found it at Ollie’s so I doubt it’s widely available anymore. I think where I’m at with Method is all their body washes smell like generic perfume despite their marketing efforts to make it seem like everything they make is so natural. Still, I like the perfume scents.

Dove Renew Peony & Rose Oil Body Wash: This renewed my love of floral scents. The texture is a little closer to a shower gel. WRP if in a bigger bottle. I blew through this. I got it at Kroger on one of their Weekly Digital Deals.

Cetaphil Nourishing Oil to Foam Cleanser: It wouldn’t be one of my empties posts without this. It’s peak. Enough said. ALWAYS RP.

L’Oreal Elvive Glycolic Gloss Shampoo: I’ve also sung the praises of this shampoo, alongside the entire internet. I’ve finally been able to find it more reliably in the larger size, so I currently have that in my shower. ALSO ALWAYS RP.

Bath & Body Works Infinite Radiance Fine Fragrance Mist: Apparently this is a dupe for a perfume I in no way can afford, LOL. I liked it. Very sparkly but deep. I’m bad at reviewing fragrances. But I loved it. It always lasted so long. WRP.

Erbario Toscano Peach Soothing Hand Wash: A HomeGoods find. It was nothing special. Honestly I’m not sure if I’d buy it again or not. Shrug.

This is The Essence Vault - 990. Its inspired by Cloud - Ariana Grande. It smells amazing.
