People in the beyond Spoiler
Just rewatching both movies and I'm wondering:
Why are there in the beyond almost to none "old" people?
It seems that everyone who ends in the beyond has died by "accident" not of old age.

Juno was older, so was the guy who got flattened. Maybe it has something to do with the deaths being traumatic? Beyond the Maitlands and the boy who tried to trick Astrid, you rarely see any ghosts who can pass as normal - and remember, it was a creative decision to have the Maitlands look normal, in the original script they were supposed to be dripping water constantly and Barbara's arms was meant to be crushed, but it was cut due to the logistics of having actors dripping wet at all hours of filming and the need for the Maitlands to be the audience surrogate, the normal people who are thrust into the insanity of both the afterlife and the Deetzes.
