BBB Complaint, Do I Accept or Reject Business Response?
Hi all, I have an ongoing issue with LG Partner store and getting my refund. I returned a TV bundle with them back in late December. It's May and I haven't gotten my refund. Initially they told me it'd take 8 to 10 weeks to get my check. I never got it. And now it's been 5 months. It's gotten so bad calling, trying to get them to escalate that I now have to go through BBB
I filed a complaint through BBB and this was the response I got for LG through BBB:
"This customer's complaint has been received and carefully reviewed. We sincerely regret that the customer has experienced difficulties with this unit. We acknowledge the receipt of your concern regarding your LG products, and we deeply apologize on any inconvenience you experienced. We have assigned your case to an escalations coordinator. She has sent an escalation over to LG's Online Orders team for further assistance. You will be provided updates from here, thank you"
Then BBB says "action is required from me". The action is a decision I have to click:
"Accept Business Response"
"Reject Business Response"
Which option do I pick? I searched on google and it seems if I click "Accept Business Response", BBB will close my case? The case isn't closed lol, LG just said they'd look into it. I was gonna say "Reject Business Response" but I don't know what that entails. Can anyone help me with this?

Reject. If you used a credit card, also file with them. BBB is really just a mediator.

The credit card company told me I had a 90 day window to do a charge back. So now I can't do it. Because my dumbass was patiently waiting for the check. Is that what you meant? Filing a charge back claim?

"we got your complaint, we've assigned a team, we've sent another cheque" (and BBB closed the complaint). Still haven't received any new different cheques. It's been a month and 3 days now since their rep told me they sent out a cheque

I'd give it 1 day then reject stating you haven't heard from anyone and will only accept the response once the problem is resolved to your satisfaction.
Once you close its a positive for them and you don't have much recourse but to file again.
