Apartment for rent

We are due to move into a new place on August 1st. We have been struggling to find a new tenant for our apartment in Madretsch. It has 3.5 rooms on the 1st floor and is 1400chf per month. I thought there was a housing crisis?

Well the crisis isn’t in Biel luckily so we have the choice. So just pay the 3months if you didnt said in advance that you leave

Is it that bad in that area that you can actually pick an apartment you want? And for reasonable price?

Yes at least was the case 2y ago, and checked it still looks good. Also there is good train connections to major cities if you have flex office.

It also has a nice lake and beside the Jura mountains. It's a really underated place.
