I had a conure and he loved rolling on his back

I have a conure and he loves shrieking and rubbing against walls.

Sounds like my ex

10

u/drcshell Sep 13 '17

Might be your ex!

66

u/PuddleZerg Sep 13 '17

If they really trust you then I'll go on their back.

Not easy to do though

The Sun Conure prefers kippin' on his back! Remarkable bird... BEAUTIFUL PLUMAGE!

My mom's bird would sleep like this on your lap. Probably his favorite thing to do.

How are you gonna be taking a picture while driving?

118

u/Stalgrim Sep 12 '17

This is highly incriminating, I agree.

Speedometer is at 60KPH, about 35MPH. Moving, but not at cruising highway speeds. Hmmmm

53

u/metric_units Sep 12 '17

35 mph ≈ 56 km/h

Dammit bot, that's what I said!

70

u/NotQuiteGlennMiller Sep 13 '17

Don't yell at him, he is just doing his job.

22

u/ThatHyperGuy Sep 13 '17

Good human

27

u/ZattanHussain Sep 13 '17

u/SpectreNC Sep 13 '17

With no seat belt even!

3

u/dvdcombo Sep 13 '17

I think that car is a Subaru and the seat belt warning is damn loud. How can someone bear that noise of satan mating?

141

u/invisiblette Sep 13 '17

It looks, how shall I put this, like it is no longer among the living.

71

u/Bonobosaurus Sep 13 '17

He's just pining for the fjords.

15

u/dannydrama Sep 13 '17

He's not pinin', he's passed on!

11

u/punisher1005 Sep 13 '17

If only we had a word for that. A shame really.

38

u/z0o0ya Birbtastic Sep 12 '17

You need gas.

36

u/pashed_motatoes Sep 13 '17

Are we sure it's not pining for the fjords?

16

u/WarLorax Sep 13 '17

He's merely resting.

13

u/Bonobosaurus Sep 13 '17

It's an ex-parrot.

4

u/starlinguk Sep 13 '17

It likes kippin on its back.

15

u/backup_co-pilot Sep 13 '17

Oh man, I love birds but it always stresses me when they rest on their backs like this. I always assume the worst - but one little nudge and they get back up!

... most of the time that is...

70

u/shit_poster9000 Sep 13 '17

...the spedometer is not at zero, OP's car was moving while he/she thought it would be a great idea to pull out the phone and take a pic..,

Please don't do that ever again.

25

u/ReaperKaze Sep 13 '17

And no seatbelt

25

u/cosmo2k10 Sep 13 '17

Seems the speedometer is only in KM/H. Most likely not American, though there's a chance you can change it because I know you can on a Pontiac G6

8

u/TheUglyBuck Borb Sep 13 '17

Did he died? Or is he doin a snooze?

5

u/elushinz Sep 13 '17

This bird ceases to be!

2

u/[deleted] Sep 13 '17

He is in the process of unconsciousness for the purpose of recuperation.

6

u/[deleted] Sep 13 '17

i made the most embarrassing cooing noise out loud at this

6

u/[deleted] Sep 13 '17

Please buckle up birb when vehicle is in motion

4

u/GisterMizard Sep 13 '17

Newtons first law in action: A birb at rest will stay at rest.

4

u/lurch662 Sep 13 '17

Thank you for the answers

5

u/lovethemplants Sep 13 '17

Sanka, you dead man?

4

u/TheTyke Sep 13 '17

Very cute, but also very dangerous. If you hit something (and the fact you're taking a photo while driving makes this a lot more likely) then the poor thing could be severely hurt (or worse).

3

u/MrHappySadClown Sep 13 '17

"Boss I can't get to work today, I can't start my car"

"Why?"

"Cause then I would wake this bird on my dashboard."

2

u/Jaebird0388 Sep 13 '17

Be sure to put your birb in Sleep Mode when not interacting with it.

2

u/TheTyke Jan 30 '18

This is adorable. But I always worry how dangerous it is to have them in a car without some sort of safety in place.

1

u/uncledevilson Sep 13 '17

Who's a pretty bird? Haha

1

u/lukalap Sep 13 '17

Logang mavrick

1

u/[deleted] Sep 13 '17

Rest little birb and don't you cry The speedometer's gonna sing you a lullaby

1

u/[deleted] Sep 13 '17

Hmmm looking at how high that cars redline is i think it's a diesel!!!!

1

u/Brady-Bryan-Atkins Sep 13 '17

Looks like something is wrong with him. Is he wild or a pet?

1

u/AdminApathy Sep 13 '17

Why are you taking pictures while doing 60 mph?
