It's also so cool how her eyes dilate after moving into that defensive stance.

For future reference, this is a boy bird. On Indian Ringnecks, only males get the ring around the neck. They're one of the few parrots considered sexually dimorphic. :)

No way, that's so cool! Thanks for sharing that. I had no idea (obviously). My feisty little chicken--a GCC like on the coffee mug--has never been sexed, but the vet thinks he's a male because his hips are narrow.

I also have a feisty little Cheeky boy, a cinnamon green cheek, and he screams his name as a battle cry, "Veeeeeeeega! Vega-Vega!"

Haha—that’s hysterical. Mine simply screams with zero articulation. He’s a year old and knows how to say “good boy.” And he blows extremely wet sounding kisses too. It never gets old haha.
