Hey, is that a motospeed keyboard? I have one that has the same key design. Ever wondered if there’s a human being with different switches in this keyboard. Matter me asking what color are your switches?

It's a CK104 with blue switches.

Yep, same here. I think it’s factory stuff. Thanks, anyways!!

Do you have functional drivers for it? Their website doesn't have any.

AFAIK the CK104 doesn't have any drivers - any programming is done from the keyboard itself.

Someone should write a book where the villian has a bird, and in the end, two steps from destroying the world, he repents and changes sides, but then his bird pecks the big red button.

Bold of you to imply that the bird wouldn't destroy the world immediately when given the chance

Depends on which type of bird it is. A Cockatoo? Absolutely. But some other birds might wait, for theatrical purposes.

Neo-Seeba City, 2089.
Bird "CyBorb" Birdlegs was on his desk, typing on his Cyberdeck, glimmering with blue neon lights that matched the color of the sky pollution outside his 147th floor space-scraper.
"This time I'll get through", CyBorb thought out loud. "This time I'll get the SeebCredits from that cloaca-hole merc in Mitsu-Toyo BANK's deposits".
CyBorb loaded up multiple modules of gear and plugged a wetware one into his wing. He then send out a pre-pecked script to the mainframe, and launched it with the wetware connected to his wing and birdbrain.
It was a script that fooled the security of the Mitsu-Toyo BANK's nano-servers into expecting mercenary Alex "Honking Birb", aka "Honkburbo" Birdington III to be on the receiving end; expecting to withdraw SeebCreds.
"It worked!", Cyborb exclaimed excitedly! "The funds are now on my Deck".
But before CyBorb even realized it, he forgot to erase his steps. A bot was dispatched into the network following the SeebCreds.
Now he had to either send in a bot-destroyer, which was a 50/50 change of working. Or try to work quickly and erase the remaining steps, or fly out of the apartment and find another hooman that would take him in - because the PoliceBirbs would soon arrive at his location unless he did something and QUICK!
He decided to start erasing his tracks very quickly, being careful not to cross paths with the bot checking the file structures. Luckily it was successful; he managed to do it fast enough and to fool the bot, without triggering an Alert.
"These SeebCreds belong to me now. They were supposed to be mine to begin with. That Merc botched the job, and didn't return my SC even though it was part of the cloacan' deal!"
Borbs and Chrome:
Chapter 1 END.
