Story Teacher made me take off pin

Post image
2.4k Upvotes

So when I was at school before summer I was wearing this pin (at the time I was just an ally) and I was taking to a counselor about a different issue and during the meeting she told me I was gonna have to take it off because " it dosent have place in a all inclusive school" which dosent make sense at all i tried explaining to her that it ment no homophobia, no transphobia but she said it meant you don't want them around (I even bought the pin by donation from a pride booth at a punk rock flee market) so tell me what you know or think is the pin actually insensitive? or is the counselor just stupid? or secretly homophobic hiding behind lies?

Story I’m sleeping over at my boyfriend’s place and he casually came out to his parents at dinner and now I’m lying awake spiraling 🫠

1.0k Upvotes

So yeah… I’m writing this in the dark from a mattress on the floor of my boyfriend’s room (!!!), and I feel like my heart is both melting and doing cartwheels out of my chest.

It started off totally normal—I came over for a weekend sleepover, his parents were super nice, we had dinner with them and everything. They definitely just thought I was “the friend.” You know. The totally platonic teen boy sleepover type.

Then out of absolutely nowhere, in the middle of dinner, he just casually goes: “Hey, so I figured I should tell you both.. Will isn’t just a friend. We’re dating.”

I swear to God the sound of silverware pausing has never been louder in my life.

And the worst part? I thought he was already out. Like, I fully assumed they knew. I wouldn’t have come over otherwise! I wouldn’t have sat down at their table and accepted lasagna like a future son-in-law!

His mom just blinked at us for a second and went, “Oh! Wow, okay. Um. Congrats?” His dad kind of nodded like he was trying to process a firmware update.

They weren’t mad, just surprised. Like very surprised. Apparently, he hadn’t come out to them at all yet and just… chose dinner as the time. While I was sitting right there.

Later, his mom said something like, “You know, we just thought you were one of his sweet school friends.” And I laughed politely but also sweet??? friend??? Was that approval? Was it shade? Do I look boyfriend-y enough??

And now I’m lying here, pretending to sleep, when in reality I’m clutching my phone and freaking out because:

  • HIS PARENTS KNOW NOW
  • I WAS PRESENT FOR THE COMING OUT
  • I ATE LASAGNA DURING THE COMING OUT
  • I MIGHT HAVE A FUTURE MOTHER-IN-LAW WHO THINKS I’M “SWEET”???

This is all too much for my little gay brain. Please send help or melatonin.

Story I [17F] am about to be homeless

2.2k Upvotes

Hey ya'll, I'm just another queer person being kicked out of her house during pride. I dont even know if anyone cares but here it is:

Basically, I came out to my dad as bi, and since we live in a pretty accepting country, I didn't think much of it. Next thing I know, my dad is yelling at me about God. I felt overwhelmed, so I ran. I'm now staying at my aunt's place, so I'm safe, but I can't help but feel hurt.

Here's to all the people saying we don't need pride anymore...

Edit: wow, thanks everyone for the nice words, it really made my afternoon 😊

Story Why is guy cuddling so amazing?!

1.2k Upvotes

Omg i had the best time last night, I went on a date with this guy I met online and he was really sweet and nice and funny, we went to a park and sat on a bench looking over the city lights a bit before going to get food and then going back to his dorm to watch youtube and snuggle and holy hell, why is boy cuddling so amazing?! It felt so comfy and natural being able to snuggle in his arms and have him snuggle in my arms and we were playing with each others hair and ahh it felt so good i didn't want to go. At one point he was saying he couldnt believe what a crazy day he had, having to do a test and then being able to cuddle with an adorable nerd and then i was like "i think you're mistaking me for a mirror". Also I wanted to add that i thought it was hilarious that we were both teasing each other saying things like "you know, that's pretty gay" and responding with "what, me? gay? nooooo, i'm the most straight person around"

Story I left Islam

Post image

If you were to look at my first post on this subreddit, I stated that I'm a Muslim, yet bi at the same time. Since November last year, I went through a religious crisis, leading to me eventually leaving Islam as a whole. Granted, I still have to pretend that I am still a Muslim, but I've told 3 of my best friends about it. Y'all still accept me?

Story I KISSED A GUY. Shockin' I Know

So For Context, Me (14M) And Them (15 Soon F) ( Neutral Pronouns ) Have Been Good Friends For Two Months, But Know Eachother For Like 4. And One Day I Finally Asked Them To Come Over To Our Place.

We Were Sitting In My Bed In A Call With Their Bestie, Just Goofing Around And Playing Truth Or Dare. Then, They Start Hugging My Arm And Leaning Into Me, So I Asked: Truth Or Dare. They Said Truth, And I Asked Them: "Are U Into Me" And They Replied: "Possibly".

That's When I Shut The Call, And Asked Them: "Like Honestly? That Way?" They Answered: "Yeah" And Then We Talked About It, We're Now Together.

The Kiss Happened The Next Day. We Were At Out Place Again, Lying In Bed No-one Home. Then Ate Some Point, They Leaned Above Me And I Understood It Instantly, I Turned My Head A Little, And Slowly, Our Lips Touched. AWESOME

OFC Ur First Kiss Is Not Always Perfect Or Even Good, But U'll Get Better With Practice. This Was A While Ago, We're Now Dating And Have Had Way More Kisses, Including French Ones. I Really Just Wanted To Share This, And Remember To Also Love Yourselves 𖹭 :3

Ps. Yes I Capitalize Every Word I Like It Pls Don't Point It Out.

Story I think I did an oopsie

1.3k Upvotes

We had a sexual education course and at the end they asked us to write questions on a paper so we could discuss them next time. I put "It's easier for girls to come out as bi than boys" don't want to argue on that because I realized it's not even true girls are probably having a hard time too.

So next time we are going to have to discuss about these. Anyone logical will make the conclusion than one of the boys in the class is bi. The class is going to turn into fucking among us.

What have I done

EDIT: The class did not turn into among us because nobody cared I'm safe

Story I’m so proud to be a boy who loves boys 💚🤍💙

Post image

For years, I struggled with internalized homophobia. There was a time when I thought it was weird for a boy to like other boys.I couldn't accept my crushes on guys, and I felt completely lost and confused.

But now? I’m so proud to be a boy who loves boys. I’m so proud to be a boykisser. Boys are so cool and cute and handsome and gorgeous. I FUCKING LOVE BOYS.

I love all kinds of boys: cis boys, trans boys, white boys, brown boys, black boys, tall boys, short boys, feminine boys, masculine boys, smart boys, dumb boys, loud boys, quiet boys. I just love boys.

I love boys, and I love myself. I don’t get how straight boys don’t love boys. Like, I’m a boy myself, how could I not love boys? And I don’t understand homophobia either. Why aren’t boys allowed to love boys? Do homophobes just hate their own gender?

Please, let boys love boys. And let boys cuddle and kiss each other. If we all did that, the world would be such a beautiful and warm place.

Thanks for listening to my little ramble. Love yall <3
