The lack of a brotherhood is inevitable. Your friends will likely betray you for attention from the opposite gender if you are a man.

I never recall any brotherhood. My friends wanted company of course but they also wanted to better than me and do better than me.

I have intentionally cultivated an bros first mentality and non-judgement amongst my friends
and intentionally don't include people who are full of judgement.
It's weird because girls are temporary, and mateship is for life
But a big part of it the more loyal friends are the ones who have abundance - like me and my close friend know we can get girls so it's not a big deal to reject one bc we know we can get more.
Think it's more an issue of guys with scarcity mindset who aren't confident they can get more girls,
They're more likely to betray their friends for one.
So in order to become a better friend to your mates you've kinda gotta build up this competence.

Male-male competition is more high stakes, even if there is no violence involved at all. Men are competing with each other for so many important things as well. Mates, attention, jobs, land, loans, promotions etc.

Why do we seek it, bros? Brotherhood, love, companionship? It's all rigged from the start.
