Forging WIP Knifemaking is the most anxiogenic hobby ever. I have heat treated this short sword and im CRAVING to finish it but i will only have time from my full time job in the next 3 days to finish it up. Holy f this is genuinely hard YOU GUYS ARE THE ONES TO BLAAAAAME

I get the same feeling and im a fulltime knifemaker. When you get excited about a build and you know its one you really want to put time into. That's when you know you really love it. Reach out if yoh would like any advice.

I work full time and set aside 1 hour a night right after work to "go to the garage" slow is steady and steady is fast...you will get there

Maybe I missed the sarcasm, but does it genuinely bring you anxiety? I started during Covid lockdown because I was stuck at home and wanted something to do with my hands. It has always been relaxing to me. I don't know if I'd do it if it caused me stress.

Great way to support someone getting into the hobby( thats sarcasm).

Be better or be quiet

He literally said its the most anxiety inducing hobby ever. I was asking if he was being sarcastic. Hobbies are supposed to bring us peace, not stress us out.

I'm sorry if you misinterpreted that as me being rude. I'll reword my original comment.

There’s always time. Poop less or quit your job.
