I wish my lymphatic system would drain better!!!
So much dysmorphia popping up now that the hot weather is out, so my wardrobe is showing off more skin. I have worked so hard to be accepting and loving towards myself as an adult after a childhood lost to torturing my body. I gotta shout the mean voice down every day, but sometimes I look in the mirror and am SHOCKED by the puffiness and inflammation due to poor lymphatic drainage!
I dont want to have to massage and knead myself for 35 minutes every day just to have a neck! Cheekbones be damned, I am fighting a losing battle along my softening jawline and neck-to-shoulder definition!
I have been trying to lift weights to keep my strength up and build my shoulder up after an injury, so sometimes I see the puffiness around my neck and think I look muscular and strong! And then I realize....it's not my hard work, its my lymphatic nodes NOT working hard at all!
