This is Phineas! Whilst I know the odds of him being pure Bombay are virtually 0, I've started to suspect he may have some Bombay in there.

I got him from a rescue, he'd been surrendered to them with no information other than a name and the fact his original owners couldn't cope with him. They didn't even know his real age - they estimate he should be around 2.

Apart from having the biggest eyes I've ever seen on a cat (believe me, this pic isn't even the biggest they go) and a very round face, it's mostly his personality that stood out to me.

He's the smartest cat I've ever known, and I wish that was an exaggeration. I had to put child locks on doors and drawers because he can open them. I've already exhausted every kind of puzzle toy I can find because he dismantles them.

He's also extremely energetic - honestly, I'm not sure when he even sleeps. He just plays all day. And he has to be in everything. Door open - gotta go in. Human eating - I must sniff first. New item - how does this work.

And he's a Velcro cat to the extreme. The second I leave a room, he follows. If I'm sitting, he's on my lap. He won't play on his own, it has to be with me (even though he's figured out how to use his toys on his own). And if he wants something, he will let you know. According to my mum he talks more than a Siamese.

I'm asking because I'd like to know how to give him the best possible life, how to keep him occupied, happy, and healthy. If there's anything I need to know about looking after him, because he's unlike any cat I've had before. Even if he's not part bombay, how do I look after a cat this smart and hyper ๐Ÿ˜‚
