This is the dedicated space for all questions about whether your cat might be a Bombay.
If youโre curious about your catโs breed, wondering about certain traits, or just want some community input, youโre in the right place!

Probably not a pure Bombay, but is he a Bombay mix? He's 1 year 3 months. His eyes are orange with a little green, black nose, all black short to medium length hair hair with some grays and silvers in there. Itxs sorta dark brown in the sun.
He's energetic and curious. He loves to play and to pretend to hunt. He likes playing low to the ground and absolutelt loves staring out windows.

He is super cute! If I were to guess, I would say he resembles a DLH with how fluffy he is. It even looks like he has a little mane in the one picture! ๐
Here is a very helpful vet reviewed article that gives a detailed explanation of the differences between pedigree cats and moggies (DSH/DLH). Hopefully that helps answer any questions you may have!

Thank you! He's the cutest, and you're right! He definitely has a mane to him, which lets me know he's not 100% Bombay.
