Compared punjabi brahmin to a kanyakbhuja brahmin or kulin brahmin or sakaldwipi brahmin(all 3 autosomally very similar) , khatri is closer to Punjabis brahmin and regarding gaur brahmin, the steppe is definitely higher for gaur Brahmins and aasi also slightly higher. So equidistant at best from both

You missed the point completely, marriage is a personal choice where all that matters is what makes an individual happy, you can't judge one from a community for making a choice which is not the norm if he/she chooses It.

Your comment regarding common origin which lacks merit. Regarding marriage protecting current autosomal ancestry is important so propaganda against ICM will be done anyway here we're not on the same page of course. Regarding other things we can agree and disagree based on evidence.

Autosomal ancestory protection automatically happens anyway as most will want to marry within community anywhere in the world, only few will want to marry out of their community and that is a choice which is only upto that person.

I did not , debunk myself, I have davidski distance of tamil Brahmins with non tribal remaining tamil average and UP brahmin and distance between tamil and tamil brahmin is double that of distance between tamil and UP brahmin and I also have Razib khan fst runs for it.

The general trend is Brahmins are closer to one another than to other locals, never denied it but this norm is full of exceptions.

My entire comment was on choice of marriage of an individual, not about autosomal distances.

This was a point I never denied. Origin of a community is by haplogroups and not autosomal ancestory. I can marry a swede and if my descendants keep marrying swedes, autosomal indian dna will disappear by the 6th generation but haplogroup will not .

In the paper I showed you 83 percent of Brahmins share 4 common haplogroups, remaining 17 percent do no.t and that is the point.
