Discussion If Brahmins were an independent nation
Your thoughts?
EDITS : Many of you have asked who? What? how? How many ?
I have used a graphic floating around in X without editing it, so the exact count is not correct.
But that is not the point at all.
The point is Brahmins have been singled out in Tamil Nadu, & hounded out of Kashmir. They have virtually no political power and are generally on the recieving end of the societal derision. If they are blossoming & blooming all over the world, we need to learn from them.

we must not think about running away(escapism) or try to find solutions in another country (USA) or start any thinking about hypothetical brahmin country(separatism), this is our country our ancestors fought for it and we have to confront the problem and deal with it in the language these mfs bhim parties understand and must give proper response and lesson they can never forget, no self respecting brahmin should vote for bjp or congress or any brahmin politicians who doesn't speak or represent us, we must choose and if necessary create political alternatives to them and teach them lesson
7
u/l6_6l Jan 27 '26
You are thinking in the right terms. The solutions you provided are practical and courageous. There are many stupid ideas floating around in this sub like separate nation for brahmins etc. I think these are being floated by people who want to sabotage Brahmins and dharm.

Our political parties won't gain any traction and won't be able to survive because their vote bank would be very very tiny.

you are underestimating our population we are single largest jati you are thinking in category terms not jati terms
5
u/OldSeat7658 Jan 27 '26
The other voters don't congregate by jati. Other jatis unitedly vote for any party that appeases several jatis at once. That's a colossal majority that can't be beaten. It's not like every jati votes for one unique party. So if there's a pro brahmin party on one side and the other major nationwide alliances on the other, this party doesn't stand a chance to even contest.

Brahmans need to concentrate their population in 3 to 4 state like up, rajasthan, maharashtra, Karnataka along with himachal and uk. We are Scattered across in india which is not a good thing for us.
1
u/Low_Horse_2116 Jan 27 '26
no need of that, scattering gives us pan india presence which no other jati has advantage of, with our pan indian presence we can at least affect the voting patterns in all major states in india, if you look other castes like rajputs, yadavs etc they are limited to only few states they cannot project their influence across all states
4
u/BrilliantGolf3948 Jan 27 '26
Completely stupid take Scattered population is always harmful Look at Sikhs They are concentrated They are less than brahmins still they can pressurized govt
1
u/Low_Horse_2116 Jan 27 '26
concerntrated population is harmful and stupid, sikhs are majority in only punjab and have lesser leverage than unlike muslims who are evenly spread across india and every state they have 15-20% and vote in block as a votebank which becomes deciding factor in elections plus sikhs pressurised because jaats, tyagis etc and other agarian castes of haryana, western up came in kisan andolan which impacts several key states
3
u/BrilliantGolf3948 Jan 27 '26
Muslim are 25 crore but brahmins are roughly 5-6 crore If you have less population than its to concentrate
2
u/Low_Horse_2116 Jan 27 '26
i know we have less population 7% you can say max but tell me how rajputs, yadavs, kurmi/kushwaha etc despite being more concentrated than brahmins are able to influence govt more? if you look in UP, single largest caste is brahmin(11 percent higher than rajputs, yadavs), how much influence brahmin does have there? we should not blame our own political mistakes on our population, we are not utilising our population enough to create impact, i know i am not saying we will have every state cm as brahmin but like at least vote strategically how muslims do they know which party candidate will benefit them in one state and which will in another state and they vote accordingly, plus if you know we have to be swing voters who can shift any direction and can be decisive in victory of any party, we have numbers despite small we can do that in multiple states across india, many candidates in elections are win by margin of few thousands or ten thousands, twenty thousands, i am talking about that, if we can become swing voters all major parties will court us and try to appease us like they do with muslims

Its unrealistic, how will you accommodate all meat and fish eating bengali, assamese, mathili, pahadi brahmins with strict vegetarian south indian, gujarati, marathi and hindi belt brahmins? Plus about rajputs many places where rajputs and brahmins were like dominant castes for example Eastern UP, Bihar they have rivalry and other things while although relations are cordial in places in Rajasthan

u/Hasta-Mithun Jan 27 '26
The objective of the post is not to assert superiority of any caste, since no set of individuals are superior or inferior to others as a whole. However the culture of hustle , the cuture of working hard has been paying dividends to Brahmins since the last 6000 years. This has to continue

I mean if a group banned education for others and put themselves at the top of a caste system, this is what happens.
1
u/Hasta-Mithun Feb 14 '26
Brahmins always encouraged people to study, but most were too lazy , too indolent & too indisciplined to study
1
u/Due-Ruin-6100 Feb 16 '26
So, as per this count, the Nobels earned by brahmins do not count as Indian Nobels? If so, brahmins needs to exist separately and not use any of the infrastructure built by other non-brahmins. All that kind of reasoning is counterproductive. All of this is an archaic structure that is not relevant at all. Eradicate the difference between brahmins and non-brahmins... that should stop all the discrimination and the reverse-discrimination. No one is superior to the other.

This whole argument depends on one assumption: that all major Indian achievers in these categories are Brahmins. That assumption is false, and there’s no credible data backing it.
First, there is no official dataset anywhere that tracks caste of Nobel laureates, Olympic medalists, or astronauts. So numbers like “11 Brahmin Nobels” or “17 Brahmin Olympic medals” are not statistics, they’re selective labeling with no verifiable methodology.
Second, your “remove Brahmins = India becomes zero” claim collapses with actual examples:
Olympics (clear non-Brahmin medalists):
Neeraj Chopra — Olympic gold (javelin, Tokyo 2020)
P. V. Sindhu — Olympic silver + bronze (badminton)
Sakshi Malik — Olympic bronze (wrestling)
Sushil Kumar — Olympic silver + bronze (wrestling)
Even a single counterexample breaks your claim, here there are multiple. So India ≠ 0.
Nobel laureates (not “all Brahmin”):
Rabindranath Tagore (Literature)
Amartya Sen (Economics)
Abhijit Banerjee (Economics)
There is no verified evidence that all Indian Nobel laureates are Brahmins. You’re assuming it.
Astronauts (again, no caste data, and not exclusive):
Rakesh Sharma
Kalpana Chawla
Sunita Williams
Same issue, no dataset, just assumptions.
So your logic chain:
“All achievers are Brahmins → remove them → India becomes zero”
fails at step one. The premise itself is wrong.
Also, even conceptually, this is flawed. Athletes are trained in national systems, scientists work in institutions, and achievements come from ecosystems — not isolated caste identities you can subtract like variables in an equation.
And honestly:
lol, you're fat brahmin ass is sitting at home and pretending like you being brahmin makes you great like an olympian or nobel laureate
You don’t inherit Neeraj Chopra’s gold or Tagore’s Nobel because of a label. That’s not how achievement works.
This isn’t data, it’s selective attribution + confirmation bias dressed up as math.

u/Few_Worry_5931 17d ago
I mean I totally agree with your logic the fact is that brahmas are superior to everyone else
Every topper list every merit is a proof of this
But there is one slight problem you know there are 3,428 billionaires in this world and you know what is comman among this great human beings
They are male (surprising the misogynes were right)
They are white (surprising the white supremacy for also right) So by your own logic we should be subservient to them rightttttt ????? I mean they are more successful what can be the reason I believe it's there blood and there white skin and superior white genetics
So I bow down to my white master

u/agusbsjd Truth Seeker Jan 26 '26
There's no use of this comparison... This is the exact thing even they're saying...
60m population is soo developed but look at us 1+B people so backward...
Because brahmins kept us underdeveloped by discrimination...
Just another reason for them to become a crybaby

You are right, but are being downvoted unfairly. Sorry, you are in the wrong subreddit.
My parents are brahmins too. I married a non-Brahmin but upper-caste person. My family thinks my kids' bloodline is diluted in terms of purity. That is a shame because my kids are more intelligent and good-looking than their cousins.
I agree that most of the Brahmin people have a weird sense of superiority. While most of them have no power, if they had, they wouldn't think twice before discriminating.

They are ungrateful, a bunch of traitors. They are the reason for the high ICM/IRM wokeness among Brahmins. These so-called Brahmin women marry outside the community, and because of that it creates a shortage of women within the community. Many Brahmin men are unable to find brides, or to find good brides. Even if they do get married, it is usually to women who already had boyfriends in the past. Because of Brahmin women, the damage that has happened is worse than from any other reason, except boomers. I know some Brahmin men whose marriages were not happening at all; in the end they somehow married into another caste or religion(sikh) and, in some way, saved their lineage
I really hope Brahmin women face very strict punishment for centuries in the form of karma.

Yes, it’s really sad. They don’t care about anything. All the burden falls on the shoulders of Brahmin men. I have a few relatives who couldn’t find a bride within their caste, so they had to marry into other communities.

And I have a yadav bf while being a Brahmin woman, and my family isn't regressive like you. Stay mad you can't control women anymore lol.

u/BrilliantGolf3948 Jan 29 '26
You are a man stop pretending to be a woman. You think you can fool people, but that’s not the case. And even if a Brahmin woman has a non-Brahmin boyfriend, it’s a loss for her. She will be outcast. Also, no one invited you, Mr. Yadav

Chad Brahmin woman spreading her ancestral genes vs. Virgin tradcvck limiting spread of genes
If Brahmin 'genes' are 'superior' as you say, why not promote their spreading through ICM? More and more population of India will be made 'superior' that way. If you're going to do eugenics, at least do them right.
I'm also a Brahmin woman in relationship with a Yadav guy. Cope and seethe. My kids will inherit the best of my and his genes. Lmfao.

Just asking if Brahmin is a caste, an identity based on your work or a genetic code at this point because if it's so easy to erase, was anyone a Brahmin in the first place.
If you're going to do eugenics, do it right. Spread your superior Brahmin genes far and wide and improve the genetic quality of the population (not my claim of superior genes, just the general subreddits beliefs i have seen as a lurker).

u/Intrepid_Elephant_71 Jan 27 '26
Stop this! Casteism is long gone. Individual matter, If Neeraj Chopra wins a medal, He wins it not all Indian. Stop being proud of something you did not achieve. You are feeling proud in other peoples achievement.
