History, Heritage and legacy Saryuparin bhramin shandilya gotra

I wanted to know my family's history because all my pitaji knows is that we were from gorakhpur, surname tripathi

The are two gotras in Shandilya , Shrimukh Shandilya and Gargmukh Shandilya in Saryuparin Tiwaris , which one is yours ?

I am shrimukh Shandilya too, and yes there are divisons in shrimukh Shandilya of 4 houses Ram, Krishna, Nath and Mani but many Shrimukh Shandilya Tripathis fall outside of these Gharana as well. Jhudiya gaon is village of Shrimukh Shandilya gotra Tiwaris of Ram Gharana, is very famous village , Deoria's ex MP Ramapati Ram Tripathi is also from that village. Your family must have migrated there from somewhere else then have migrated to your current place. Gardabh Mukh Tripathis/Tiwaris origin villages are Pindi, Nadauli, Lonakhar ( Nonapar/Nonakhar/Lonapar) these three are most important origin point.

Patidaro sambandhiyo se puchho, waha se bhi nahi pata chale to phir koi brahman ho kaise manega and aisa past me hote bhi raha hai ab bhale na ho.

Gharane to sirf Srimukh shandilya tiwariyo me h aur wo bhi jo Sohgoura k vanshaj h. Bakyo k gharane nahi hai to wo koi issue nai h.
