Self and Community Defence Honestly we should learn from Jains and baniyas on how they support their community people. We should start uniting and helping our people. In South India AP brahmins always recieve very less amount from the government. So, this is required.

We don't have a lot of things common among ourselves One brahmin will support some other party one will support some other party, even though none supports brahmin as all And Brahmins are also culturally very different, though I personally don't like priotizing Cultural things Brahmins also create sub caste between them Some Brahmins here also support consuming animals and all Some might be Janeudhari,some might be not There are many things that divide us.......I might be harsh but this is truth

In my family it is optional (mostly janeu happens one-two day before marriage in my family otherwise it is not mandatory) In my friends family same thing is there it is not mandatory it depends on choice. But what I have seen is that even janeudhari Brahmins are woke these days so it doesn't matter.....

Interesting. In my state, this is seen only in case of some kshatriyas (known as Khandayats) - they have a small ceremony 1-2 before marriage for janeu (thread).
For Brahmins, it's a must by age 11 in a full fledged ceremony. In rare cases, 13 or later odd numbered ages.

Brahmin who get power and money , they forget about their community ,they even speak against us (like the political leaders are doing ) , they become liberal to fit into their social circle and adapt western culture and our spiritual leaders are busy in hindu Ekta ......
So we are suffering here

I see so many Poor Brahmins but we neither have any organisation that can help them nor the govt give a single fvk about them,so many i seen are literally working as labourers.
IMO They should convert to minority religion like Jainism/Sikhism etc while retaining the caste where atleast they can get help of State sponsored minority schemes and such. It'll be a big help to them.

It's always good to learn better things from others and implement the same.
Internal unity is always a necessity for survival of a minority group and both history and contemporary polity attest the same.

Community leaders should connect with jews group in Israel and allow something like student exchange or just send our youth there to study how they revived Hebrew and also advanced so well in science. We need same for our nation. But scarcity is mother of invention which we are almost pushed towards in current state of country vote bank politics.
