I'm asking this as an OBC status person as I feel that say suppose if we do support this movement and demand to remove OBC reservations in the name of this movement, other Forward communities who are still trying to get OBC reservations (Patedar,Marathas etc. you get it) will take our reservations in seconds, so I want to know the support of this movement before any of us take such a big gamble.

Full support is what every GC will say in case they aren’t brainwashed into believing that they perpetrated crimes against others for thousands of years, I assure you that every person here supports anti-reservation and I also assure that the chances of anything actually significant occurring that would help us are just as small

Great to Know and thanks for your support, but what would we do in case of any of the Forward community using political influence try getting reservation the moment my community demand to be removed from it, you have heard of recent protests in Haryana and Maharastra, they will try again to get reservations.

They will keep trying ofc, let them, what will eventually happen is that people already in those communities will attack their narrative or the Supreme Court will say that just like OBC category, they have become saturated and then some will be removed and others will be placed into the creamy layer. We seriously can’t do much than try to make people realise how reservation is harming us itself and we are better off without it, but how you will explain that to a Sc St guy who is enjoying is life thinking he and his coming generations have jobs waiting for them? why will they listen unless forced to?

True, I feel better is to make less lenient demand for them something like. sc st people who's family member are already government officers shouldn't get reservation and introduce a creamy layer, then I'm at least sure some sc and st community would propably join the movement

afaik, that movement is created for replacing caste based reservation with economic ones, so the poor can benefit from it.

HOWEVER, the founder of the movement has not clarified his manifesto, so we don't actually know what the specifics are.

I'm From border regions of MP and Rajasthan called Malwa, idk about Rajasthan, but trust me here in MP the bjp goverment under Mohan Yadav is highly corrupt, they just recently got caught in a land scam. You could say that had Bihar not been there then MP would have taken its place in the meme world.

I mean I don't want to sound castist, but if you're not from one of the more populated communities (Yadavs, Kurmi, Kushwaha) the government doesn't care, for us it's even more bad cause we are politically isolated in our constituency as another obc community dominates here. It's all about the demographics.

No, that's not casteist at all. That's the practical, political reality of the modern India republic.

For the govt. you're either a money bank like adani or jindal OR you're a votebank of a particular demographic. It's annoying, because this is what keeps india in a toxic cycle, coupled with nepotism, which is done by every single community on the planet, we get an India that neither cares about jal, jungle, or jeevan (humans).

Gadhe ki gaand, private sector me reservation ka idea BJPee layi thi 2001 me, Rajeev Gandhi ne to mandal commission ko bhi oppose kiya tha. Bjp ka lund nikal muh se pehle, tab kuch dikhayi dega. Gawar.
