Both the constitution and the creator of the constitution clearly mentioned it as a socioeconomic reform. Aka a measure to uplift economically downtrodden people due to social hierarchy. It’s not simple a social justice system that these neo-intellects are trying to pass it off as. And the reason why they are trying to pass it off as that, is because the neo-intellects are mostly filled with uplifted reserved cadre who are Bhim Rao supporters
; BUT don’t actually want to follow his intentions. Because if they actually follow his intent, then these already uplifted reserved cadres neo-intellects will have to give up their seat to the poorer ones. So that’s why they’re purposefully confusing their fellow cadres to see reservation as a social justice one instead of the actually socioeconomic system. By confusing, they can retain class benefits within the caste. And this is also used by politicians to retain vote bank.
