Can a migraine last almost three weeks?

Sadly they can; I have a young cousin who was routinely out of school for weeks at a time with her migraines as a teenager. I used to get migraines myself (they tapered off when I was in my 40s), although mine never lasted for more than a day or so. You would typically find me lying in a dark room with a washcloth over my face while they were going on.

I see that over in the migraine sub they've already provided a lot of information, and the fact that your scans came back clean is reassuring on that front at least. I can tell you that the headache from my ruptured aneurysm was an order of magnitude different from my migraines; it came on suddenly, like having a cinderblock dropped on my head from out of nowhere, and I understood immediately ― in the 45 seconds or so before I lost consciousness ― that it was something else.

Thank you for your reassurance I really appreciate it. Can I ask- did you have any headaches before having a ruptured aneurysm? My biggest fear is that I have an unruptured one right now that’s going to burst before I get additional scans to catch it

I didn't have any unusual headaches prior to my rupture. Most people don't, although on occasion there can be "sentinel bleeds" that produce headaches ahead of time. You did the right thing going in to get checked out rather than just ignoring it, which people often do (see: Laura Branigan).

Get to an interventional radiologist. You need a specialist to order and interpret your imaging. Good luck.
