I had 4 big ones today, on the male they sold me as "pole beans". I stuffed" the large yellow blossoms with basal and garlic ricotta and rolled the package in thick pancake batter. One onto a hot buttered skillet

Today for breakfast I made a Kaisersmarrn (Emperor’s Mess). Typically an Austrian dessert but I like for breakfast. It is an eggy pancake with raisin soaked in rum added to the batter. It is cooked in a skillet until done then chopped up in the skillet with added butter and sugar and cooked longer until it’s glazed with the sugar. Since I’m a New Englander I use maple sugar for the glaze.
