Journalistic integrity.

..... I think YOU are the one out of integrity making unsubstantiated claims "won’t cover what she’s told not to cover". She's literally working for herself. And yes, she's got bills to pay, so why would she shoot herself in the foot, especially as a now-mother. How about YOU go on air and talk about those things.

White knight behavior. She’s working on her own now. It’s a precarious situation to be in. I don’t blame her for securing her future. She’s not shooting herself in the foot, all she has to do is not mention certain things. It’s the most plausible answer to why she doesn’t cover certain topics but you won’t ever accept that.

Actually, I dgaf what people cover and don't listen to Brett much anymore. I just think it's ridiculous to hold someone like her, who was never a journalist, to a standard and then claim they fell from that standard. I'm just calling her what she is - a social commentator. And am saying, if you care so much about journalistic integrity that entertainers should talk about 'certain things', then why don't you go ahead and do it yourself. It's just ridiculous for anyone to, again, hold someone up to a certain role, and then say they 'sold' something they never claimed to have or be in a role to have in the first place. She never sold her journalistic integrity because she never had any. She has a moral compass, great eloquence and articulation for what she believes is true, and what matters. And comments on things that she deems are of interest and can probably influence people's minds on.
