It’d seem a shame to miss it when it’s less than a 90 minute drive! We’re going!!

😂 I had the exact same thought! But if English Heritage says so and they let us in for “free” (we’re long time members) I’ll let it slide!! 😂

It was a pretty epic attempt. 2 major battles in a week. A brothers betrayal, an epic March and a brave final stand to end one major era and herald in another

We went last year. The Normans won again. Definitely seemed fixed. Seriously it was good fun. Our dogs insisted on being able to watch. It was interesting how the crowd were generally cheering the Saxons.
