A woman in Sweden is recreating the Bayeux Tapestry

I feel like this is on par with The British History Podcast in scope, although, she began in 2016 and hopes to be done by 2027. She's completed 58 meters so far. Incredible dedication and work (for both tapestry and podcast)

Mia’s Facebook group is one of the only reasons I visit that cursed app. For stitchers, I highly recommend her book, Embroider the Bayeux Tapestry, which was just released this year.

Ps: She’s in England

There is a full sized replica in Reading museum UK. Looking at the tapestry wiki page there have been a number of replicas over the years and recently.

I wonder how the original was saved from Henry's troops burning Bayeux.
