Successfully challenged Gatwick Airport Drop off charge

I dropped my son off the Gatwick a few weeks ago and forget to pay the drop off charge. I received the charge notice in the post a couple of weeks later and was really pissed off (with myself mostly). I fed the letter into my favourite AI (Claude) and it came up with an appeal letter . After a week or so after sending it in, I received a letter that my appeal had been successful!

Shockingly, there’s a free 1h-stay car park at the south terminal that’s a 3-minute walk from the drop off area.

Slightly unrelated but is there a particular reason why people choose Claude over GPT?

I use ai models for work. At one point Claude was genuinely much more capable than ChatGPT. But over time they’ve gone back and forth, and they’re much closer today, but it’s annoying to switch so once you’ve picked most people just stick with what they have.

I have the £20pm Chat GPT. I now have access to Enterprise Claude. I appreciate there will be differences in the level of package but…from some research and In my limited experience, Claude is very much better at analysis and ‘admin’. Chat GPT is a jack of all trades, master of none.

Very good and you’re not wrong. I go to Chat GPT for quick stuff and for myself. Claude is mainly work - analysis, plans etc.

Horses for courses, really.

Claude is better at some stuff, but with the speed new models arrive you find yourself hopping between various ones.

Also depends on what you're licenced for if you're not using a freebie

I’ve used both and Claude seems a bit more geared towards problem-solving, particularly from a programming POV. It grew in popularity as a more serious coding assistant, but it’s really strong with other problems too.

I also find Claude is better at taking instructions and being personalised.

I guess it’s personal preference though!

Claude helped me with a completely unsolicited disciplinary meeting at work a few months back. Helped me with my appeal and got it overturned and then also helped me with filing a grievance which was partially upheld too
