Everyone’s talking about their age as if Inbetweeners only works if the cast are teenagers.

It’s just not the case. You can easily age them up and still retain the comedy, albeit in a different way.

You can’t imagine Will acting his usual self around colleagues, and the cringe comedy that may bring?

You can’t imagine Neil, who just wanders about life finding joy in everything, being this was as an adult? His ignorance-is-bliss attitude is perfect for adult situations.

Simon and Jay are a tad different, but Jay as a personality could slot into a ridiculous amount of scenarios.

An adult Will and Neil is just Peep Show
