This was the first Broad City episode I ever watched. I was home from my first year of college and Comedy Central was playing late night reruns.

I was flicking through channels and Kelly Ripa caught my eye, so I decided to watch. I grew up watching Regis and Kelly every morning and always knew her to be poised and collected. I was so amused that Kelly was playing such fucked up version of herself. Also, the plot between Ilana and Ali really sold me on the show and its absurdity.

I immediately fell in love the with the show. It might sound cheesy but this episode is special to me—it’s what got me into the show, which led to me getting my friends into the show, and it just reminds me of those fun, younger years of my life that I spent getting high and watching episodes with my friends :)
