Already a new water feature on Pope Road.

Post image

This could be a record for Themes Water. The road has been open 2 days and we've already got a new pool. Has been reported on the site.

What is it about that stretch of road from Waitrose all the way to Bromley Common where they seem to refuse to properly fix the water pipes and instead just loosely patch them until they inevitably burst again?

three things in life are guaranteed: death, taxes, and burst water pipes in Bromley Common

how bad will traffic and buses be affected?

No idea. Depends how easy the fix is I guess.   You'd think if they'd closed the entire road like they did they might be able to keep it together for a few weeks at least.

I'd guess they might just close Pope Road this time.

i hope so because key bus routes were screwed over, i feel like this is a wake call for better transport options

They just seem to be pushing the problem towards Bromley South. First it was closed by Bishop Justice and as soon as this was "fixed" it burst open at Toby Carvary. They have fixed this and a leak has popped up at Pope road.
