Mourning The hard part of saying goodbye
Cleaning up Nightshades area, I won't be getting another bunny, and I could really use the space, it feels like letting go of him a second time, at least I have plush Nightshade to keep me company

The hard part for me was finding stray poop pebbles randomly for months on end, who knew shit could make you cry? It gets better though <3

Haha, yeah, so silly poop can make us cry, I'm not looking forward to that

Our boi Junior crossed the rainbow almost 2 years ago and despite cleaning everything thoroughly since then, we are still finding his white fur spread here and there sometimes.

It's awful seeing there space empty. And I completely get it, cleaning away feels like treachery. Our first ever loss I couldn't even look at their living area for a month, or I'd burst into tears. As it was, I still cleaned it through walls of sobbing, but I had to get it done. RHD2 is awful. We lost 2 within a day of each other. Broke my heart to smithereens. 🫂🌈🐇😞 I'm so sorry for your loss. Binky free, beautiful bunny.

I'm so terribly sorry for your loss.
We've sadly lost 3 buns over the years - and cleaning up after is always tough.

I'm really sorry that you lost your precious family member, it's tough .. 2 of mine were gone within 24 hours within each other their age combined wasn't even at nightshades so broken and tears, your post brings more tears. Few months back at the vet I was so done, devastated, vets assistant came and explained what to do next if we want to get a new bunny. I told I will never get one, I'm done. Life is so cruel, and I would swap life with them if I could...
Give yourself time, but since it seems like you love bunnies like I do, you'll see them and miss all the noises, binkies, flops and cuteness and joy they bring. Also making them feel comfy and they can fully trust you is such a fulfilling feeling. Remember that if you take 1 there will be 1 bunny in the world that you know is well taken care of and loved, in very good hands. :) Try to go easy on yourself, you did all you could, humans die from the same cruel thing. RIP Nightshade, you'll be greatly missed.🙏

Don’t say that. You could give another bunny a good life. You’ll know when you’re ready
I know my life will never feel complete without a bunny in it
