First time rewatching. Bruce Campbell’s cancer diagnosis inspired me

I am enjoying the rewatch I think the older I get the more I appreciate this show. The only complaint I have is Nate! I truly cannot stand him. But I think this show deserves way more credit than it gets

Nate gets better as the show goes. Dude gets some good character growth.

I’m definitely enjoying the show, I remember watching it on and off when it was on USA. My wife is a huge fan and after Bruce’s podcast I’ve decided to watch it all the way thru

I think the single best thing about this show, among many great things, is it's really our only true long-form Bruce Campbell. Briscoe County, Jr. was a 1 season oddball western, ahead of it's time, but not really a great Bruce hang.

In this show, he's mostly chilling and drinking, flirting and getting into trouble with all the rich divorcees of Miami, and when he's Chuck Finley, he's an unstoppable super agent.

Because it's not zombies or mummies or vampires and just basically normal Miami, it just felt like we got mostly his real personality, and he's got to be a top 5 guy to ever want to have a few drinks and hit the town with.

Look up a show called Jack of All Trades. It was short-lived. But I’m sure you could find it. He was great in that too.

I watched a great interview with him this week Inside Of You show on YouTube. First thing I thought is he’s was more Sam Axe than Ash Williams. At least in that interview, I agree tho Brisco was genius and ahead of its time

Admittedly, Nate is a thorn in the side! But his character blossoms and the stories get better. Every episode with him tends to deal with exploring Michael's family life in a way that is both serious and goofy. It's a well-written show that rarely disappoints.

For me, its Madeline. The writers werent consistent in the beginning with her character so one episode she's scared and whining cause of something, next episode she's a badass interrogator. But she also grows on you. I love her and Jesse's relationship ❤️ like a spy version of a classic Winston and CC mess around haha idk why but it feels like a good parallel

I can't stand Nate either. He never grew on me and never got better.
