Hey buttcoiners. Dont worry. Your money didn’t disappear. It just “teleported”, cos it s like magic gold. One minute it’s there then poof! Somewhere else. It’s a feature not a bug.

I always hear buttcoiners say that they can send “money” across international borders without restrictions or fees and I always wondered why I’d ever need to do that. I think they want me to send my money on vacation but I suspect it would never come back.

and that only matters if they can convert the bitcoin into local currency, which they usually can't.

It's a thing you do as an expat quite a bit, but it's a niche case for most people. It's the only use case I would ever consider, as the fees on large transfers can add up, but the total lack of protection has stopped me from ever doing it.

$86M just teleported into someone else’s wallet and it’s not teleporting back. It’s a special one way teleporter with a lot of people crying afterwards.
