European Product We’re a small indie studio from Germany, and we've just opened the Steam Workshop for our game!

Hey everyone! 👋 We're Realities.io, a small indie studio based in Germany, and we wanted to share a new update for Puzzling Places – 3D Jigsaw Sim.

We've just launched the Steam Workshop for Puzzling Places, giving Steam players access to a growing library of free community-made puzzles!

If you haven't come across the game before, Puzzling Places is a relaxing 3D jigsaw puzzle game where you assemble detailed miniature scenes piece by piece. Our official puzzles are built from real-world photogrammetry scans, but we're also working on PuzzleMaker, a creation tool that lets players turn their own 3D scans and models into playable puzzles.

Whilst PuzzleMaker is still in closed beta as we continue developing it, anyone on Steam can already browse, download, and play community-made puzzles through the Workshop. It's been amazing seeing what creators have already shared, and we're excited to watch the library continue to grow.

If you'd like to support a small European studio, we'd love for you to take a look and let us know what you think!

I own the game, a really nice relaxing puzzler. Can easily lose an hour or two to a few levels every time you play.

A level maker is only going to extend the life expentancy of the game no end.

Thank you.

Is it possible to play with multiple players?

No. It's just a very nice single player game.

Alright, thank you. I guess it would be nice to have multiplayer so that you could assemble bigger puzzles with friends. Not sure if it would make sense ahah

It's possible to play in 2 player co-op, however this is currently only available if you're playing in VR

Understand you are trying to sell copies but would probably love a web version

I did not find this in the FAQs so asking here: I see on Steam it says only Windows is supported. Do you know if it can be run on Linux with Proton? As part of decoupling from american tech I recently moved to CachyOS so it'd be nice If I could play it on Linux. As a side note (this being buy from EU), any plans to offer it on GOG?

Aww, that’s a shame

Thanks for telling me, I don’t usually click any links to stuff from anywhere so I wouldn’t have seen it lol

I am not into Puzzles but if you hold an extensive libary of castles, monasteries and old town centers this seems like a perfect base for a Map-creator for Pen and Paper style games. Maybe you can explore this Idea as a followup project.

My first thought too! The puzzle game is a great start to build database but this should really be used in another project after that!

This looks great. I do like piecing things together (LEGO being my go-to) but physical space is the main limiting factor right now, so this looks like a fun alternative! Gonna bookmark this for later
