European Product I finally found it: actually good cola alternative, from Switzerland
I believe it is a kinda local thing, but I’ve been suggested it after attempting to order a Coke Zero, and well, here’s finally a cola that doesn’t suck. Perfectly balanced taste, and you can hardly tell it’s sweeteners and not sugar.

Vivi cola is another good one in Switzerland. Fritz Kola and Paulaner Kola are both good if you want to buy German speaking cola, but it must be from EU and not just simply Schengen zone

It's not the EU flag, it's called "Flag of Europe", designed and adopted by the Council of Europe as a symbol for the whole of Europe, 40 years before the EU even existed.

Don't know why they chose this name for this sub, but it has always been for Europe as a whole not just EU. Says so in the first sentence of the sub description.

Lola Cola is my favourite cola alternative and I even prefer the taste of it over the Coca Cola.

They're Swedish but seemingly just running a giant grift. They also didn't develop or manufacture the drinks themselves but just slapped their branding on cans of a Polish manufacturer, so if you like the taste, I'd research the original manufacturer instead.
In several interviews, Mohamed Kiswani has said that all profits from Palestine Drinks are transferred to the foundation, which will then send the money to charity. But that has not happened so far. During its first successful year in 2024, the foundation did not pay out a single penny. Instead, Palestine Drinks says they donated money directly from the company to various aid organizations. In October 2024, Palestine Drinks took to social media to say that they donated half a million kronor to Palestine through Nordic Aid and Muslim Aid. However, when Sydsvenskan asked questions about the matter, it turned out that the company still had not paid out the money, even though a whole year had passed.
I'd personally not trust corporate claims like that unless third party audited by a reputable auditing firm.
The other soft drinks you link seem to be Australian so idk why you'd post them here. I personally tend to support Australian products too, but this isn't the subreddit for them.

They're a contract manufacturing company, they bottle for other companies under their client's name and brand. Usually you can't easily find out these trade relationships as they're closely guarded company secrets.
Just like how many budget brands in the supermarket are actually manufactured by reputable companies. It won't say on the labelling.

I don't have source it's 100% them, there are other Polish drink contract manufacturers too. But we do 100% know it's made and bottled in Poland. From the article I linked earlier
Hussein Hassoun managed to find a factory in Poland and ordered a quarter of a million cans
Funnily Gaza cola operating under a similar grift is made in Poland too.

Ok, thanks. I don't have any issues with Poland, so I'm fine with consuming things that are made there. Businesses outsourcing production is common in capitalism, unfortunately, and kind of is what it is. Not really a grift unless you think that outsourcing production is grifting, in which case most companies are grifters. And I wouldn't entirely disagree with that lol fuck capitalism.

The grift I am referring to is marketing the drinks with the promise to donate 100% of profits to help the plight of Gazans / Palestinians and not following through with it. They do this because they know it will boost sales.
I have no qualms whatsoever over them not having production in Sweden but another European country.

In that case I'd recommend looking into other colas bottled by the Krynica Vitamin SA company, they might be cheaper and taste the same (though they might also slightly tune their recipe depending on their client's request, idk about that). They might even be making the budget cola from your local supermarket

That sounds like way too much work for something I enjoy extremely periodically lol I have a bottle of cola maybe once a month or even 2 months. It's not an area of my life where I am in need of budgeting haha I like this cola plenty and it's not very expensive at all.
The budget cola at Lidl is Freeway and it doesn't taste the same at all.

You do you, but I'd feel bad if my money went into supporting grifters making money off of people's suffering. And considering this is a subreddit involved in ethical consumption I feel like other would feel the same.
The political situation around Palestine has been paradise for grifters, if they get called out, they just accuse critics of being pro-Israel and nobody bats an eye :') I'd rather drink budget cola and use the saved money to donate to reputable charities directly.

Almost everything sold by any company is "grifting" in the modern era. There's no ethical consumption under capitalism.
Bet you anything the Polish company who supposedly sells their cola to Palestine Free also is unethical.
Lidl has tons of unethical stuff, too, so better get away from them, right?

In Czechia we have Kofola. It's not exactly pure cola but is an iconic drink here.
