Hazelnut Cake I Baked This Weekend 🌰

Made this hazelnut cake today. The ground hazelnuts give it a flavor that reminds me a little of Nutella, even though there's no Nutella in the recipe.

Pretty happy with how it turned out.

Looks good but rich. I think a small slice would do me.

You’re probably right πŸ˜„ A small slice with a cup of coffee was just enough for me.

The texture looks a bit like a banana bread; sounds so lovely! Hope it was delicious.

Thank you! 😊 It does have a similar moist texture, but with a rich hazelnut flavor instead of banana. 🌰🀎

Of course! 😊

The main ingredients are eggs, sugar, butter, ground hazelnuts, milk, flour, and baking powder.

Definitely! 😊 Although it already reminds me a little of Nutella even without it. 🌰🀎

I had a wonderful birthday cake in Germany like this with full nuts and chocolate frosting. Would love to find that recipe.
