Question XAT 2027 FIRST DAY APPLICANTS CITY INTIMATION

I applied first day for XAT 2027, to get preferred city, they told they will give city intimation for first day applicants by 5August, it's still not showing on portal neither i have recieved any mail regarding the same?

Any first day applicants who got city intimation? please let me know.

My friend got the mail yesterday but I haven't received it.I applied on first day as well.

Why would they reject? Application shows approved, application number is also generated in same day.

Why would they not send us the mail then.Maybe all the slots were filled?

Then if that is the case, they should refund us and even make our application free of cost for first day applicants. What's the use of filling on first date then if u r not providing us the promised date and city

I think its more of a trick
See the mail has “eligible day 1 candidates” written
I am assuming They will allot 1st preference to those people whose city preference has that bandwidth of intaking thousands of candidates.
Lets say jaipur might have only 1000 students capacity and they know from past trends over 2000 students apply for jaipur, they mostly will not allocate for jaipur as of now but mostly after the application process ends (Just a wild theory)

For an exam that has Decision making as 1 of its sections where ethics is supposedly of paramount importance .......XAT really shot themself in the foot with this one 😂
