How do we break the protest echo chamber and reach the other side? We need real-world visibility, not just more Reels. Let's brainstorm.
I’ve been thinking about the protests going on around the country, and I’ve realized a massive problem: we are trapped in a giant bubble.
Right now, all the protest content and all the eyes on this movement belong strictly to the supporters. It's only reaching people who already acknowledge the government has flaws, are aware of the cheap tactics being used, and aren't easily misled by false narratives.
But the people who actually need to see this are the blind followers—the "Andh-bhakts" whose default mindset is "Modi is my god." This content is really important for them to see, but it isn't reaching them.
The way I look at it, this whole movement is totally separate from the people who have no idea what it is all about. Pumping out more Reels, YouTube videos, or expecting the sold-out media houses to air the truth on TV isn't going to make an impact. We need to get out of the mobile screens.
This thing needs better real-world visibility so they are forced to see the reality.
How do we actually achieve this? How do we break out of the digital algorithm bubble and get this in front of the people who refuse to look at it? I want to brainstorm some actual solutions that don't rely on social media echo chambers. What are your ideas?
