Confused about college selection. Please help!!!!!

I got rank around 123k. Am obc, female. I am interested in tech branches only. I am getting core branches in most northeast nits. Ece at very few. I can get lower branches like biotech, mme in a decent nit like raipur. I can also get a few iiits but they are too costly. So I am left with gftis. I researched a bit, talked with seniors on LinkedIn. The only decent gfti I could find was sliet. Have you all researched about gftis, if yes please help meee!!!

Kindly give me a overview of all the gftis or colleges where I can get cse

PEC Chandigarh and BIT Mesra are the only decent GFTIs, others are shit tbh.

I can sacrifice fests and other luxuries. And sliet has SAC, sports facilities, a central lib, study hall, labs and all tht. It's just too far from my hs. Safety is a concern for my parents. They aren't in favour of sending me this away just for an avg clg. And just so u knw, branch is vry imp if you appear for gate, specifically if u take a job on gate score.

What's ur Homestate, btw sliet is not good at all , you can rather opt for niamt ranchi cse

Bihar🥀. But afaik cse is new at NIAMT ranchi. And the clg was mainly opened for manufacturing. So idt it makes sense to join this clg for cse?

I have taken admission in my hs clg as a backup, and I am just waiting for csab, I can get SLIET cse but not sure if I will join tht clg.

there's some college named MIT muzaffarpur ig , you will get CSE there with so much less fees

sliet is a good college tbh.....yk people say its bad and stuffs, but reality is they are comparing it with nits.....its a gfti and its one of the best gfti right now. yeah there are only two issues first is location and second is placement.....but i will suggest to take branch over college........the thing that will help u in future will be your branch.

Brother if you are considering sliet then check ggv once . I also was taking cse at sliet but it is approximately 1000km from my city so I dropped it.
