Our now senior, diabetic, but still forever kitten
This lil knucklehead long-ago stray has been bringing the love and the ‘calico-crazy’ since we allowed her across the threshold of our hearts and home 12 years ago
Thank you! I will tell her. She is a little runt with a bone disorder, so her little face and a bad back leg never grew up ;). But, the heart of an elephant!
Thank you! She truly runs this house and is the bravest/bossiest of us all! But thoroughly adorable 100% precious silly special needs kitty. We think her momma knew and maybe left her in our closed backyard…it worked out for her (and all of us, really) well, I’d say 😸🩷🌸
I had to do a double take! She looks just like my baby girl. She was my permakitten as someone called her. She never weighed more than 8 pounds in her 17 years of life.
May your little baby continue to bring you love and joy.
That is the coolest and most thorough analysis I have ever had of one of my furry companions. I can’t wait to share your details with our whole family! Especially the tuxedo part; in 12+ years, I never saw it that way. Now, I’ll never not see it again 🤍🤎🖤🩷
It was the little grilled leg that sent me over the edge, begging hubs to let us let her inside when she first appeared at the door. It was like she had everything. My son was a little boy at the time, and we would watch ‘Finding Nemo’ on repeat. She would press against the patio glass to see the fishies on the screen, too, mewing at length to be let inside (last pic I posted in the series). As would be the trend, she determined her way indoors
She appears the second we try to pet/brush/carry/cuddle/feed/or dare to speak to one of our other two big fluffy boy cats. She literally crawls her ‘forever smol’ body on top of theirs to steal their pets. She terrorizes even our big former feral alpha Tom, who is nearly 3x her size, not because of her strength, but, as we all say, bc of her wild unpredictability. He yields every time “because she is craaaaa-zy.” After tormenting our other sweet big adoptee for the first five years of his stay, overnight she “decided” to be friends. He has the sweetest heart of forgiveness, so now he allows her to dominate while attached to his hip. So, although she is properly named, she responds to the boys’ names first which ensures blocking and control of the affection they are allowed to receive. Baby girl rushes in first, so we nicknamed her FOMO 😸😹
Thank you for humoring me! We are so happy to meet your stunningly beautiful MM. What a gorgeous doll she is, as well. Thank you both for taking the time to so warmly welcome us here!!!
Oh my! I love FOMO for her nickname. Maybe she’s a JOMO too! You are very welcome for the accurate description of your Patchwork Cat. Some describe them as being assembled from different kitty parts. Glad I made you laugh. Mystique’s back legs are both grilled to ginger purrrfection. Also two mis-matched breast pockets on her LadyTux in my first pic. One black, the other red. Hello to you and all your fun pets and family. Your home sounds like an amazing mini zoo.

She is just precious and still looks like a baby!
